Right in time of their new Eraser/Zinc EP, HVOB are touring Europe with a very special club LIVE show. The two lovely Austrians Anna Müller and Paul Wallner are seeking something extraordinary with a way more intimate setting that they are usually used too. Therefore, they decided to leave there drummer at home and selected a handful of tour stops in order to present this special show. Lucky us, Blitz was on their list. The new 12”, packed with stunning remixes by Matrixxman and Giegling’s Vril, already gives a little glimpse about HVOB’s 4th long player, that will be released in spring 2019 on PIAS. While keeping their key melancholic vibes we all love them for, the new music is presented with loads of pressure, punch and edginess. Call it progressive and traditional at the same time. All we can say is that we are already really looking forward to the album. Maybe they’ll play a couple of tunes already? The final cut for this night will be given by sets of LHF Squad aka Vince & Thomé as well as by our resident Sascha Sibler.
Zum Paukenschlag des Releases ihrer brandneuen Eraser/Zinc EP, gehen HVOB mit Ansage auf eine exklusive Clubtour durch Europa. Dabei legen die beflügelten Österreicher Wert auf ein intimes Umfeld, in dem Anna Müller und Paul Wallner außergewöhnlicher Weise ohne Drummer, die mit Bedacht gewählten Station bespielen werden. Der, mit stattlichen Remixen von Matrixxman und Giegling’s Vril versehene Zweiteiler wiederum, liefert uns einen imposanten Vorgeschmack auf ihr viertes Album, das im Frühjahr 2019 und ebenfalls aus PIAS erscheinen wird. Soundtechnisch bricht das Wiener Duo darin mit ordentlich Druck ausstaffierte und roh-punchige Gefilde auf, die weiterhin ihren geliebten und melancholischen, roten Faden verfolgt. HVOB ist progressiv, HVOB bleibt sich treu: da kommt etwas Großes auf uns zu, behaupten wir. Den letzten Feinschliff dieses Live-Spektakels übernehmen die LHF Squad aka Vince & Thomé und Resident Sascha Sibler mit notorisch satten DJ-Sets.
