Brown leaves are falling from the trees while we are really looking forward to Avalon Emerson’s third visit at Blitz. Her powerful sets range from rough 4/4 Techno, over slamming Electro, via pumping acid house to Italo and only one thing is guaranteed: this girl delivers! The last time Avalon appeared in the spotlight as producer was last year in November, when she released her second 12” for Whities. While the A side features catchy and euphoric arpeggio excursions, The B side features One More Fluorescent Rush that dives well into essentially rhythmical territories. All in all its just the smart Emerson sound. Our second guest of the night is the lovely Resom, who is well known for her lang lasting residency at Berlin’s club institution ://about blank. The connecting dot is given by our sweetheart Candy Pollard who constantly, and you can take that literally, takes care of surprise and satisfaction and the same time.
Zum dritten Mal stattet uns die nicht aufzuhaltende Avalon Emerson einen Besuch ab und auf diesen blicken wir erneut mit überaus großer Vorfreude. Denn mit jedem ihrer zwischen roughem Vier-Viertel-Techno, peitschenden Electro-Bangern, pumpigem Acid-House und Italo anzusiedelnden Power-Sets, liefert die junge Amerikanerin bedingungslos ab. Als Produzentin rückte Avalon zuletzt im November 2017 mit ihrem zweiten Release auf Whities ins Rampenlicht. Auf der A-Seite entzückt Avalon mit eingängiger Arpeggio-Euphorie, im Zuge von One More Fluorescent Rush mit ätherisch-rhythmischen Ausflügen. Kurz: mit smartem Emerson-Sound. Die Zweite im Bunde ist Frohnatur resom, die als Resident im Berliner Institut ://about blank reizend den Takt vorgibt. Die Runde rund machen wird unser Everybody’s Darling Candy Pollard, der absolut immer – und damit meinen wir wirklich immer – gleichermaßen für Überraschungen und Zufriedenheit sorgt.
