To celebrate the public holiday on October 3rd, we’re opening our doors for a house-heavy Blitznacht Spezial and developing a myriad of different perspectives on the Chicago sound we’ve grown to love with the DJs on the BLITZ and PLUS floors.

Past residencies at Panorama Bar and Trouw, DC-10 and Rex Club adorn Cassy’s CV and we adore the way she plays with the contrast of organic and synthetic textures of house & techno in her sets, that are ultimately marked by a distinctive, soulful warmth. We believe that her comparatively early musical socialization with jazz, which is often cited, provides the basis for her unmistakeably vivid mixes. Up next is Dubfire, the solo project of Ali Shirazinia, who is also one half of the iconic duo Deep Dish. As a soloist, he dedicates himself to hypnotic, minimal-oriented techhouse grooves that massage brain and body cells with feeling but also determination. Franz Rauschenbach from Munich will open the BLITZ floor with a considerate and pulsating mix of minimal tech house and deep tech.
600-cell over on the PLUS floor knows all about the – sadly! – increasingly forgotten art of opening sets and is a nonchalant master of probably the most important slot of a club night, in it’s first hours. He takes time to set the right mood right from the start and plays tender cuts and grooves from house and techno.
From Berlin we are joined by Byron Yeates. He is appreciated for his cheerful and lively mixes of trance and 90’s progressive house and is also known as one of the founders and residents of the highly acclaimed Radiant Love parties at the German capital. Sedef Adasi is the perfect match to close the PLUS floor out and plays elevating as well as electrifying rhythms at the intersection of techno, house & electro with an original, joyful bounce.

Pünktlich zum Feiertag am 3. Oktober öffnen wir unsere Türen für eine houselastige BLITZNACHT SPEZIAL und entwickeln mit den Künstlern auf dem BLITZ- und PLUS-Floor eine ganze Reihe unterschiedlicher Perspektiven auf den Chicago-Sound.

Residencies in der Panorama Bar und im Trouw, DC-10 und Rex Club zieren Cassy’s Lebenslauf. Wir lieben die Art und Weise, wie sie in ihren Sets mit dem Kontrast von organischen und synthetischen Texturen von House & Techno spielt, wobei das Endergebnis immer von einer charakteristischen, gefühlvollen Wärme gezeichnet ist. Wir glauben, dass ihre oft zitierte, vergleichsweise frühe musikalische Sozialisation mit Jazz die Grundlage für ihre betont lebendig-organischen Mixe bildet. Dubfire ist das Soloprojekt von Ali Shirazinia, der auch eine Hälfte des kultigen Duos Deep Dish ist. Als Solist widmet er sich hypnotischen, minimalistisch orientierten Techhouse-Grooves, die mit Gefühl, aber auch Entschlossenheit Gehirn- und Körperzellen massieren, während Franz Rauschenbach aus München den BLITZ-Floor mit einem nachdenklichen, pulsierenden Mix aus Minimal Techhouse und Deep Techno eröffnen wird.
600-cell drüben auf dem PLUS-Floor kennt sich mit der – leider! – leider immer mehr in Vergessenheit geratende Kunst des Eröffnungs-Sets aus und meistert dabei regelmäßig mit nonchalant den wohl wichtigsten Slot des Abends, in den ersten Stunden der Party. Er nimmt sich Zeit, um von Anfang an die richtige Stimmung zu erzeugen und spielt gefühlvolle Cuts und Grooves aus House und Techno.
Aus Berlin kommt Byron Yeates, der für seine verspielten und lebendigen Mixe aus Trance und 90er Jahre Progressive House geschätzt wird und auch als einer der Gründer und Residents der hochgelobten Radiant Love Partys der deutschen Hauptstart bekannt ist. Unsere Resident Sedef Adasi ist die perfekte Ergänzung für den PLUS-Floor heute Abend und spielt mitreißende und elektrisierende Beats an der Schnittstelle von Techno, House & Electro mit ihrem unverwechselbaren-euphorischen Bounce!
