Marco Sartorelli, better known as Marco Shuttle, has an interesting and uncommon perspective to electronic and club music, we believe: “I’m more inclined to think of electronic music purely as a way to make music […]. It’s just a way to make music through sound, rather than really being a ‘type’ of music. […] It has no boundaries: in its soul, or in where it can go.” This approach has fueled his rise to become a well-respected figure of left field and experimental leaning club music with a distinctive minimalistic and atmospheric, deep yet nimble personal style. Whereas his albums explore electronic music’s depths far from the functional and club orientated paths, his mixing on the dance floor stands out with a unique brand of psychedelica that is breezy yet hypnotic at the same time – no need to explain how excited we are to see and hear where Marco will take the party this time around at Blitz!
Saoirse, who just played her Blitz debut in spring also shares a distinctly agile and swift vision of club music, although her focus lies less on minimalistic and spacious sounds, but rather electro-tinged house, techno & UK-Garage with a powerful (not forceful!) and wiry foundation that suits our dance floor too well. There’s no need to introduce vince – you all know our resident is a proficient selector that joyously plays with boundaries of house and techno and that makes him a perfect fit for our first dance this August.

Marco Sartorelli, besser bekannt als Marco Shuttle, hat einen interessanten Blickwinkel auf elektronische Musik: “Ich sehe elektronische Musik eher als eine Art, Musik zu machen […]. Es ist ein Verfahren, Musik durch Sound zu erzeugen, und nicht wirklich eine ‘Art’ von Musik. […] Sie kennt keine Grenzen: in ihrer Seele oder darin, wohin sie gehen kann.” Auf dieser Perspektive fußt seiner Karriere als einer der aufregendsten Figuren experimentell-orientierter Clubmusik, die von einem unverwechselbaren minimalistischen und atmosphärischen, tiefschürfenden und dennoch agilen Stil geprägt ist. Seine Arbeiten zeichnen sich weniger durch klare Formen und Konventionen, als durch einen dezidiert klangliche Perspektive aus. So wie seine Alben unentdeckte Tiefen der elektronischen Musik erforschen, zeichnet sich sein Mixing auf der Tanzfläche durch eine einzigartige psychedelische Note aus, die luftig und wendig, aber und hypnotisch zugleich ist. Wir brauchen euch nicht zweimal sagen, wie gespannt wir darauf sind zu sehen und zu hören, wohin Marco die Party dieses Mal im Blitz führen wird!
Saoirse, die erst im Frühjahr ihr Blitz-Debüt gespielt hat, spielt ebenfalls eine ausgesprochen agile und wendige Vision von Clubmusik. wobei ihr Fokus weniger auf minimalistischen und weitläufigen Sounds liegt, als vielmehr auf Electro-angehauchtem House, Techno & UK-Garage, mit einem kraftvollen und drahtigen Fundament, das unserer Anlage nur zu gut steht. Ihr wisst alle, dass unser Resident vince ein versierter Selektor ist, der gerne mit den Grenzen von House und Techno spielt – das macht ihn zur perfekten Wahl für unseren ersten Abend im August.
