This Saturday we’ll bring you a variety of perspectives on house and techno: Smooth and gloomy machine-music is tonight’s main attraction on the Blitz floor tonight and uplifting and elevating House is the motto on the PLUS Floor.

Silent Servant from Los Angeles is among the most exciting figures from the wave of No-Wave & Post-Punk influenced techno artists. Schooled by the radical drive of avant-garde leaning Noise, he sculpts engrossing, psychedelic mixes with a raw and electrifying-edge, bursting with explosive energy, held together and effectively channelled by skilled hands and an adventurous mindset, that’s only too aware of the intriguing power of restraint. Dutch shooting star MARRØN has completed his first laps on the BLITZ- course with bravura and plays dark and propulsive techno with sophistication rather than brute force, which splendidly unfolds on our dance floor. Fellow countrywoman and a veteran of the Dutch scene, Shinedoe plays slick and percussive tech house of the beguiling sort. With more than two decades of experience she knows that the best sets convince with meticulous crafted dynamics: the perfect match one of the night’s opening sets. Jonas Yamer plays the sweetest breakbeat-orientated techno you could imagine and releases similar sounds on his own, hotly tipped underground label Molten Moods. We cherish him for his almost wavey-interpretation of techno that plays with trance influences too.

Expect a vivid kaleidoscope of house music, courtesy of revered artists on our PLUS floor. Ciel provides contemporary, upbeat and nimble sounds, the mighty Gerd Janson brings infectious, Disco-leaning House treats and our very own, enthusiastic Muallem is known for bringing people together with an irresistible blend of House, Techno and Electro, that digs deep on arresting grooves.

Zwei Floors für die volle Bandbreite unterschiedlicher und mitreißender Perspektiven auf House und Techno: Mit sorgfältig verarbeiteter Maschinenmusik der düsteren Sorte auf dem BLITZ Floor und erhebendem House auf dem PLUS Floor.

Silent Servant aus Los Angeles gehört zu den spannendsten Vertretern einer No-Wave- und Post-Punk-beeinflussten Techno-Szene. Inspiriert vom radikalen Drive des avantgardistischen Noise, formt er fesselnde, explosive wie psychedelische Mixe, die er mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl am Siedepunkt, kurz vor dem Überschäumen hält: Silvent Servant weiß nur zu gut, dass Spannung verführerischer als der simple, große Knall. Der holländische Shootingstar MARRØN hat seine ersten Runden auf dem BLITZ-Parcours bereits alle mit Bravour absolviert und spielt nachtschwarzen und durchschlagenden Techno mit Raffinesse statt roher Gewalt, der sich auf unserer Tanzfläche prächtig entfaltet. Die niederländische Szeneinstitution Shinedoe spielt glatten und perkussiven Tech-House der betörenden Art. Mit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten Erfahrung weiß sie, dass die besten Sets mit gefühlvoller Dynamik überzeugen: die perfekte Besetzung für eines des frühen Sets des Abends. Jonas Yamer ist auch als Kopf des kleinen und feinen Breaktechno-Labels Molten Moods bekannt und vergleichbar klingt auch sein Sound, wobei wir seine drahtige, fast wavige-Interpretation der Sounds besonders schätzen, die auch gerne mit trancigen Untertönen spielt.

Auf dem PLUS Floor sorgt Ciel für zeitgemäße und flinke Sounds, der charismatische Gerd Janson für euphorischen Disco-lastigen House und our very own Muallem ist bekannt dafür, dass er die Leute mit einer unwiderstehlichen Mischung aus House, Techno und Electro zusammenbringt, die mit eindringlichen Grooves punktet.
