Phenomenon Mind Against. The story of the two Italian brothers takes off in 2012 with the release of their first single Cagliostro on Life and Death, the label run by DJ Tennis. During this period we experienced quite a bunch of one hit wonders. This definitely does not account for Mind Against, who went from strength to strength soon after. They collaborated with Tale of Us and Somne, remixed Art Department and Green Velvet and managed to be featured on compilations by Sven Väth’s Cocoon and Recondite’s Plangent. The boys definitely managed to establish themselves with power and ease, thereby also somehow taking part in a new interpretation of Techno, that became quite predominant in recent years. This distinct style is also continuously represented when it comes to their output, be it in form of original music or behind the decks. You’ll always experience massive low frequencies combined with melancholic melodies that always culminate in ecstatic moments. We are more than curious about their Munich stop when it comes to their all night long tour and look forward to the story the two brothers will tell.

Die Novelle des italienischen Gebrüder-Tandems, bestehend aus Alessandro und Federico Fognini, beginnt 2012 mit der Veröffentlichung ihrer ersten Single Cagliostro auf DJ Tennis’ visionärem Label Life And Death. Entgegen der One-Hit-Wonder-Welle dieser Periode, legte das Zweiergespann durch Kollaborationen mit Tale Of Us und Somne, Remixen für Art Department oder Green Velvet, sowie der Präsenz auf Compilations von Sven Väth’s Hausmarke Cocoon und Recondite’s Plangent, das Fundament für eine fortwährende Erfolgsgeschichte. Mind Against hat sich in jedweder Hinsicht etabliert, inter alia Fahrtwind aufgenommen und währenddessen mal eben einer der neuzeitlichen Interpretationen von Techno mitgeprägt. Dabei ist ihr Stil sowohl in ihren Releases, als auch an den Decks kontinuierlich wahrzunehmen: prägnante Tieffrequenzen, melancholische Impulse, ekstatische Reize.
