Nazira plays a key role in building up the electronic music scene of her hometown Almaty. With ZVUK she managed to establish a club night that stands for unity and equality while booking out-of-the-box-acts like Giant Swan or Don’t DJ to the distant Kazakh metropole. Similarly adventurous to the curation of her event series is the style of her own deejaying, which she visualises as an imaginary landscape to travel through.
