Muallem and Seth Troxler are two personalities closely intertwined with the DNA of Blitz Club – the former being a resident and club founder and the latter as one of our regular guests, both good friends and impeccable DJs with a reliable and unmissable knowledge and intuition of our crowd and club. And of course, a long string and history of remarkable parties and performances at Blitz. Both are united by a love and penchant for House orientated grooves, their mixes and performances are marked by a genre-defying versatility that could stretch from pretty much any sort of groove and genre you might imagine, as long as it fits the vibe and party! Interesting though how they both got there: whereas Seth grew up in Suburban Detroit and soon relocated to Berlin to pursue his dream of DJing at the turn of the millennium, the polyglot Muallem has enjoyed oversea stints, but relocated to Munich to work on and shape the Isar-Metropolis nightlife. He believes in the power of home-grown ideas – Blitz and his label Childhood are prime examples. Joining the two Blitz-veterans is the enthusiastic Lavandonia, who just recently convinced us with her first set in our Blitz ballroom with vivacious, yet charmingly nonchalant Techhouse grooves marked by soft-hued textures.

Mit Muallem und Seth Troxler haben wir heute zwei Persönlichkeiten in der Booth, die eng mit dem Blitz verbunden sind. Unser Resident und Clubgründer David Muallem und der international umtriebige Seth Troxler sind gute Freunde und außergewöhnliche DJs mit einem besonderen Gespür für das Blitz selbst, die beide auf eine große Menge großartiger Nächte im Blitz zurückblicken können. Über ihre Freundschaft hinaus sind die beiden durch eine Vorliebe für House-orientierte Sounds verbunden, in ihren Sets und Performances decken sie jedoch ein (sehr) weitreichendes musikalisch Spektrum ab, solange es zum Flow der Party passt! Spannend jedoch, wie die beiden jeweils dazu gekommen sind. Wohingegen Seth in Detroit aufgewachsen ist und bereits bald nach Berlin zog, um sich auf seine Karriere als DJ zu konzentrieren, hat sich der polyglotte Muallem nach längeren Aufenthalten im Ausland doch auf das heimische München konzentriert – er glaubt an die Kraft lokaler Ideen und Communities und prägt(e) in vielerlei Hinsicht das Münchner Nachtleben, aktuell mit dem Blitz seinem Label Childhood. Neben den beiden gestandenen Blitz-Experten bereichert die enthusiastische Lavandonia das Lineup. Erst im Mai hat sie ihr überzeugendes Blitz Debüt gespielt, mit lebendigem und charmant nonchalantem Techhouse in feinen Pastelltönen.
