House music from Cassy, DVS1, and Freddy K: anyone following the contemporary dance music scene knows it’s a very special event when the two Techno luminaries, DVS1 and Freddy K, step up to our booth to swap their essential Techno selections for euphoric, sensual House music. Bridging the gap between House and Techno with soulful warmth is Cassy, known for her characteristic curation. Don’t miss this truly rare opportunity: it’s not just firm Techno-believers entering the booth to play House music, but a trio of the very best, well-skilled selectors around spinning their rare records!

As much as we love performers living up to their name and reputation, delivering all the grooving goods we know them for, we’re always curious about the great dance floor experiences that await off the beaten path when people stray away from their calling cards. Tonight is one of those nights where we invite good and longtime friends for a trip down a different path, with the two Techno paragons, DVS1 and Freddy K. The longstanding American and Italian Techno activists are both respected as creative and sociocultural institutions, with firm and well-informed stances on dance music culture—and larger-than-life legacies as Techno devotees. But then, Zak Khutoretsky (DVS1), Alessio Armeni (Freddy K), and Cassy are music lovers like few others, and we’re more than delighted to have the trio dig out their favorite House records and tunes for a party out of the ordinary.

Firmly walking the tightrope between House and Techno for decades, with years of experience in sweaty basements and vast outdoor settings, there’s no one better suited to join two full-on Techno aficionados setting their eyes on the timeless Chicago sound than Cassy, another adept on the decks.

House music von Cassy, DVS1 und Freddy K: Wer sich mit der Szene beschäftigt, weiß, dass ein seltenes Spektakel bevorsteht, wenn die beiden Techno-Koryphäen DVS1 und Freddy K ihre begnadeten Techno-Sets für euphorische und sinnliche House-Nummern tauschen.

Den Übergang zwischen House und Techno meistert die vielseitige und charismatische Cassy. Es sind heute nicht nur überzeugte Techno-Fans, die House-Musik auflegen, sondern ein Trio der spannendsten und erfahrensten DJ, die einen Einblick in ihre selten erlebten Vorlieben gewähren.

So sehr wir es schätzen und feiern, wenn Künstler*innen ihrem Ruf gerecht werden: wenn begnadete Artists abseits ihrer Komfortzone spielen, geschehen die spannendsten Dinge. Der Abend mit DVS1, Freddy K und Cassy ist ein solcher Abend mit Ansage.

Die langjährigen Techno-Aktivisten DVS1 und Freddy K sind beide als kreative und soziokulturelle Institutionen respektiert, als lebensgroße Technojünger mit überzeugten und fundierten Positionen zur Szene und Kultur. Sie prägen damit den Sound und Diskurs von und über Techno und Clubkultur.

Doch Zak Khutoretsky (DVS1), Alessio Armeni (Freddy K) und Cassy sind Musikliebhaber wie wir nur wenige andere kennen. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass sie sich auf einen Abend fernab der gewohnten Erwartungen einlassen und frei vom Herzen all die Platten spielen, zu denen sie sonst selten die Gelegenheit haben.

Seit Jahrzehnten gekonnt auf dem Drahtseil zwischen House und Techno unterwegs, mit Erfahrung in schweißtreibenden Kellerclubs und weitläufigen Outdoor-Veranstaltungen, gibt es niemanden besser Geeigneten, um dem Abend neben den beiden Techno-gone-House-Monolithen den letzten Schliff zu verleihen als Cassy!
