Our guests on the Blitz Floor showcase Techno’s effervescent appeal with individual approaches. The monolithic Marcel Dettman has significantly shaped Berlin’s current Techno-landscape, as we all know by now. His magic formula is raw, minimalistic, yet passionately swinging: the veterans alluring appeal is hard to miss. Few artists have developed such a mainstream appeal, all while staying true to the music’s and their very own roots.
Alairco and Daria Kolosova on the other hand have built their career in recent years. Both play contemporary fast, snappy and driving beats with a personal appeal. Hailing from Milan, the former shines with an eerie and vast sense of space, whereas Daria Kolosova shows you how multifaceted, breakbeat-inspired Techno is played with high speed and intensity.
A live wire thrill with moves hard to predict: that’s our resident Stenny. Our passionate selector from Turin fuels our fire with every one of his performances that draw on Bass, Breaks, IDM and much more.
The PLUS floor is dedicated to delicate dance music pleasures tonight. Willow from Manchester stuns with stirring yet chilly, dubbed-out cuts reminiscent of Post-Dubstep’s mysterious thrill, whereas the British-born-Portugal-gone selector Joe Delon plays discerning Techhouse and Italo Disco with a penchant for stunning melodies and twists. He’s also one of those rare and gifted DJs that know how to play kitch well – wait and feel the magic! Local wax-wizard Alessio Barletta is one of those players every community needs more of: an acquired and experienced artist that knows all about the power of understatement and whose sets slowly yet surely engross your senses.

Unsere Gäste auf dem BLITZ Floor betonen die Anziehungskraft von Techno in all seinen Facetten mit individuellen Herangehensweisen und loten die Grenzen des Genres dabei weit aus. Marcel Dettmann steht wie ein Monolith in der Berliner Techno-Landschaft, die er maßgeblich geprägt hat. Seine Zauberformel ist roh, minimalistisch und doch verführerisch: Der Strahlkraft der Institution ist nicht zu übersehen und nur wenige Künstler*innen haben es geschafft, eine derartige szeneübergreifende Relevanz zu entwickelt, ohne dabei ihre eigene persönliche wie musikalische Herkunft aus dem Blick zu verlieren.
Alairco und Daria Kolosova hingegen haben sich vor allem in den letzten Jahren ein Standing in der Szene erarbeitet. Beide spielen zeitgemäße, schnelle und treibende Beats mit individuellem Twist. Alairco aus Mailand glänzt mit einem unheimlichen und ausladenden Raumgefühl, während Daria Kolosova zeigt, wie facettenreich Breakbeat-inspirierter Techno mit hoher Geschwindigkeit und Intensität gespielt werden kann.
Unser Resident Stenny garantiert mit seinen unvorhersehbaren Sets regelmäßig für einen Nervenkitzel, denn unser Resident heizt uns mit jeder seiner Performances ein, die sich aus Bass, Breaks, IDM und vielem mehr speisen – und nie enttäuschen!
Der PLUS-Floor ist heute Abend den filigraneren Facetten und Rhythmen gewidmet.
Willow aus Manchester verblüfft mit fesselnden, dubbigen und unterkühlten Cuts, die an den geheimnisvollen Reiz von Post-Dubstep erinnern, während der in Großbritannien geborene und in Portugal lebende DJ Joe Delon anspruchsvollen Techhouse mit Italo Disco mischt und dabei eine ganz persönliche Vorliebe für Melodien und überraschenden Wendungen zur Schau. Er zählt zu einer der seltenen und begabten DJs, die wissen, wie man gefühlvoll mit Kitsch spielt! Der lokale DJ Alessio Barletta ist nicht nur ein Zauberer an den Turntables, sondern auch einer von den Akteuren, die jede Szene braucht: ein erfahrener Künstler, der um die Macht des Understatements weiß und dessen Sets langsam aber sicher die Sinne vereinnahmen.
