Esteemed veterans of dance music on the BLITZ floor and the Ghosttown camp of Bass on the PLUS floor: Saturday will keep you moving. The monolithic German Techno institution Chris Liebing returns to the BLITZ floor alongside the versatile Shinedoe and L.B. Dub Corp, Luke Slater’s House leaning alias, while the local Ghosttown collective celebrate MC culture on the PLUS floor with performances from Oblig featuring Duppy, DJ Handy and a back to back from Lindenberg Support and Kelburrt. Fiyah!

Chris Liebing and Luke Slater both share the same birth year and an equally iconic legacy, as both have become seminal figures of electronic dance music from the 90ies on, with multiple releases and own labels. While Chris Liebing has refined his influential, potent loop-based signature recipe over the past years with more and more introspective releases, Luke Slater has always enjoyed switching between multiple aliases. Besides performing under his given name and >Planetary Assault Systems<, we’re happy to have him under his sparingly used Chicago oriented L.B. Dub Corp persona opening the club night! Shinedoe, the dutch dance music veteran will slowly but skillfully take you from Slater‘s House to Chris Liebing’s thunderous grooves with her unique curation of slick and percussive Techhouse.

The Bass music focussed Ghosttown collective take things down low on the PLUS floor. This time round, they add an MC to the bill for some live-wire spice. It’s the up-and coming grime MC Duppy! He meets Oblig, another thrilling Londoner, working on a red hot fusion between Grime & Drill. Make sure you don’t burn yourself watching the incendiary collaboration unfold, though! More glowing heat come from three skilled regional players: DJ Handy, honed her skills as part of the Schabernack collective and plays an infectious brand of bass-orientated Hardgroove, whereas the Ghosttown member Kelburrt goes back to back for juicy beats with Augsburg based Lindenberg Support.

Die deutsche Techno-Institution Chris Liebing kehrt auf den BLITZ-Floor zurück, zusammen mit dem vielseitigen Selector Shinedoe sowie L.B. Dub Corp, Luke Slaters House-lastigem Alias, während das lokale Ghosttown-Kollektiv der MC-Kultur auf dem PLUS-Floor mit Auftritten von Obligfeaturing MC Duppy, DJ Handy und einem Back-to-Back von Lindenberg Support und Kelburrt alle Ehre erweist.

Chris Liebing und Luke Slater verbindet nicht nur ihr Geburtsjahr, sondern auch ein ikonisches Erbe, das sich beide seit den 90er Jahren mit zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen und eigenen Labels aufgebaut haben und sie zu Schlüsselfiguren der elektronischen Tanzmusik machten. Während Chris Liebing seine einflussreiche und effektive, Loop-basierte Signature-Formel in den letzten Jahren mit immer introspektiveren Releases verfeinerte, wechselte Luke Slater schon immer gerne zwischen mehreren Pseudonymen und Musikrichtungen. Neben Auftritten unter seinem bürgerlichen Namen sowie unter dem Alias > Planetary Assault Systems < freuen wir uns, dass er die Clubnacht mit seiner rar gesichteten Chicago-lastigen Persona L.B. Dub Corp eröffnen wird!

Shinedoe dagegen wird euch mit Gefühl als auch Geschmeidigen wie perkussiven Techhouse-Sounds von L.B. Dub Corps lebhaften House zu den donnernden Grooves von Chris Liebing führen.

Das einheimische und der Bassmusik verschriebene Ghosttown-Kollektiv mischt mit tiefen Tönen und einem MC mächtig unseren PLUS-Floor auf! Der Up-And-Coming Grime MC Duppy trifft auf Oblig, der mit seiner brandheißen Fusion aus Grime und Drill für exotherme Reaktionen auf unserem Parkett sorgt. Mehr Heat kommt von drei talentierten regionalen Akteuren: DJ Handy, die ihre Skills als Teil des Schabernack-Kollektivs verfeinert hat, spielt ansteckenden und basslastigen Hardgroove, während das Ghosttown-Member Kelburrt mit dem Augsburger Lindenberg Support Back-To-Back geht und auf saftige Beats zurückgreift.
