Youthful and spirited grooves for our first club night of the year: featuring German producer Southstar, riding hiding on his wave of viral productions and remixes and the Australian lads from X Club with drifting grooves from the 90’s through to today! And of course: our wiry resident vince, who’ll guide you through the warmup exercises of a club night that’s going to make you sweat!

Berlin based Leon Kirschnek, better known as Southstar, has made waves with the viral success of his track > Miss You <, which was accompanied by a lengthy debate featuring German EDM-behemoth Robin Schulz. But aside all of these questions of productions credits and so forth: Southstar can be credited as one of the spearheads of a young and contemporary German wave of club music artists, that carve a unique path between Techno, Pop, Trance and Eurodance. His charmingly adolescent spirit that marks his productions has already won him a wave of supporters.
There’s not much you’ll find on Southstars social media platforms, though: „I’m not the type that likes to post 10 videos or photos a day on instagram. That surely helps the promo, but when you’ve got a good track, then I believe that speaks for itself“. Charismatic, given the current day and age.

X Club from Down Under look to the early 90s and its warehouse rave scene for inspiration and skillfully reconnect euphoric energy with a groove approached schooled by the sonic achievements of the comtemporary, leftfield dance music scene. Ben Clarke and Jesse Morath deliver groove heavy Techno and coarse percussion for hard dancing.
Our resident vince, isn’t just a versatile expert of all things between House & Techno, but also an animate selector and tasteful rave-inciter. The experienced DJ knows all about the magic of tension, release and restraint – the ideal choice, therefore, for January’s first opening set.
