We defy the February gloom with a frisk on both our floors featuring Techno-veteran Freddy K, scene-sensation MARRØN and the vinyl-purists Yamour and Olivia Mendez on our Blitz Floor. Munich’s very own Different Times imprint curates our Plus Floor with sophisticated vinyl & IDM-leaning Techhouse craftsmanship, featuring David Hornung and Javier Gallardo from their own ranks as well as Anthea, the Partisan label’s driving figure!

Techno trouper Freddy K needs little if any introduction, having been part of the club scene for over two decades now and always a welcomed DJ at Blitz with his infamous and maxi-sized strictly vinyl sets. His various contributions to the scene, whether it’s radio shows, booking agencies, record stores or music labels, show the emphasis Alessio Armani places on keeping the techno scene alive and well and the community aspect of it likewise.

He is joined by vinyl archaeologists Yamour and Olivia Mendez, who have an equally passionate approach to electronic music and appreciation for hidden gems. While Berlin native Yamour has acquired a broad knowledge of music off the beaten track working many years at the esteemed Hard Wax record store, Olivia Mendez’ education in percussion and dancing as well as her love for Detroit industrial landscapes show through in her minimalistic sound. As founder of her own FLINTA collective, KONVENT, the French-born DJ expands the discourse with site-specific approaches to music and art interventions.

EERSTE COMMUNIE co-founder and resident MARRØN has made a name for himself with a thrilling approach to fast and hypnotic rhythms that’s inspired by his roots and is dubbed > Afro Deep <. He fuses African rhythmic elements with propelling yet atmospheric Techno and his irresistible command of powerful grooves and opiate textures invite you to stay on the dancefloor for hours.

Our plus floor hosts Munich based, vinyl-only label Different Times with its core members Javier Gallardo and David Hornung delivering passionately curated collections. While Spanish born Javier blends techno, house and minimal records with ease, David Hornung plays mellow Techno & House with a distinctive and soulful back to the basics approach to the wax. Last but not least, Anthea delivers the funk on the floor, with her globally informed and steady sets, that her Partisan showcases and imprint are known for, promising an exciting set under the Different Times banner.
