Italian upstart Alarico and Dutch creative IGNEZ draw inspiration from different aspects of music: while the former is influenced by the raw cuts and corners of 90’s Techno, nature has had a formative effect on the latter and his sound design, who is also known as an Eerste Communie resident. Their sets and releases showcase this intriguing difference, although they both lead to riveting results. Alarico’s angular sets and productions allure with powerful funk and have earned him releases on labels such as Klockworks and Mutual Rytm, while IGNEZ opts for refined and sleek, yet powerful, hypnotic appeal!
More irresistible grooves come from Marie Montexier and Gonzo MDF. While the former is a familiar face at Blitz, a dedicated vinyl lover with sharp skills on the decks and a knack for captivating grooves—and a highly consistent, passionate performance history—the latter is responsible for Munich’s Counterweight parties and the related record label. Expect puristic Techno sounds served with an acquired sense of dynamics and dramaturgy—the perfect match for the opening set to a long and engrossing night of concrete funk!

Puristischer und No-Nonsense Techno steht auf dem Programm unserer ersten Clubnacht im Juni. Das heutige Line-up besticht mit vier außergewöhnlichen Künstlern: Alarico, Gonzo MDF, IGNEZ und Marie Montexier, die alle ihre einzigartigen Stile an die Decks bringen.
Der italienische Youngstar Alarico und der niederländische Künstler IGNEZ lassen sich von verschiedenen Facetten der Musik inspirieren: Während Ersterer von den rohen Ecken und Kanten des Technos der 90er Jahre beeinflusst wurde, hat die Natur einen prägenden Einfluss auf Letzteren und sein Sounddesign, der auch als Eerste Communie-Resident bekannt ist. Ihre Sets und Veröffentlichungen zeigen diesen faszinierenden Unterschied, obwohl beide zu fesselnden Ergebnissen führen. Alaricos zackige Sets und Produktionen überzeugen mit kraftvollem Grooves und haben ihm Veröffentlichungen auf Labels wie Klockworks und Mutual Rytmeingebracht, während IGNEZ auf fein verarbeiteten und sleeken Sound setzt, der dabei sowohl hypnotisch als auch treibend ist.
