Ben Klock’s extensive legacy and influence on all things contemporary Techno and Berlin are well-documented, and his popularity is immense. His music? Sturdy, low-slung grooves, minimalistic and hypnotic arrangements, sleek and deep dance magic. Alongside his longstanding relationships with Berghain and Ostgut Ton (now he’s shaping the scene with his own Klockworks imprint), Klock played an essential role in establishing the blueprint for what many consider to be > Berlin Techno <. But above all, quality reigns supreme in his productions and mixes. Let the music speak!
Our resident Bashkka and Gabrielle Kwarteng bring the night to glow. New York City, with its endless inspiration, has played a pivotal role in the development of both selectors. Kwarteng is a born-and-bred native, while the city shaped Bashkka’s own artistic rebirth, particularly through its vibrant Ballroom scene and rich LGBTQIA+ culture. Both selectors are committed to honoring dance music’s black, queer, and trans legacy, offering genre- and era-spanning selections that promise blistering, exciting energy this mid-November. Expect a celebration of a colourful and inclusive future on the dance floor—and hopefully in the world beyond.

Ben Klocks umfangreiches Erbe und sein Einfluss auf die zeitgenössische Szene wie auf Berlin sind bereits detailliert dokumentiert, und seine Popularität entsprechend groß. Seine Musik? Robuste Grooves mit Tiefgang, minimalistisch und hypnotisch, kraftvoll und doch mit Eleganz. Mit seinen langjährigen Beziehungen zum Berghain und zu Ostgut Ton (aber auch mit seinem eigenen Imprint Klockworks) spielte Klock eine wesentliche Rolle bei der Etablierung dessen, was viele als die zeitgemäße Form von > Berlin Techno < betrachten.
