Yanamaste, the Georgian upstart and Khidi resident, keeps his focus firmly on the music: no elaborate concepts or backstories—just sleek, effective, contemporary Techno with a matte finish. His first two gigs at Blitz this year went down a storm for exactly that reason, and we expect no less from his upcoming set.
Local talent SloMo shares a similarly understated approach, characterised by carefully crafted dramaturgies, atmospheric yet essential grooves, and a smooth, purposeful delivery. IMOGEN, meanwhile, thrills with a bolder, more rugged sound—still refined, but distinctly punchy! With releases on Tresor, Steel City Dance Discs and beyond, her sets move seamlessly through propulsive Techno, Electro, and Breaks rich in rattling rhythms.
