Stenny marks the release of his new album on Ilian Tape on October 31. His LPs venture beyond the functional pull of the dancefloor, exploring the interplay of broken beats and immersive soundscapes in contrast to the immediacy of his DJ sets. To celebrate, he teams up with visual artist Tym Novy for an audiovisual live show — a wide-ranging sensory dive into Stenny’s multifaceted vision of electronic music and its more delicate side.

Joining him are Spekki Webu and Woody92, the Dutch forces behind the Mirror Zone and Omen Wapta imprints. With backgrounds in sound art, composition and design, they channel versatile rhythms with extraterrestrial soundscapes and narratives, each with a unique, singular spin.

From New York, Akua adds refreshing contrast with raw urgency, reshaping the essential grooves of Detroit Techno into sharp, contemporary motion for today’s floors. Closing the circle is Marco Zenker, stepping out for a rare solo appearance and proving the depth of his craft beyond the Zenker Brothers.

Stenny feiert am 31. Oktober die Veröffentlichung seines neuen Albums auf Ilian Tape. Seine LPs gehen weit über die funktionalen Gesetzte des Dancefloors hinaus und erkunden das Zusammenspiel aus Broken Beats und immersiven Soundscapes – im Kontrast zur Direktheit seiner DJ-Sets.

Zur Feier des Releases kollaboriert er mit dem Visual Artist Tym Novy für ein audiovisuelles Live-Set – ein vielschichtiges, sinnliches Eintauchen in Stennys facettenreiche Vision elektronischer Musik und ihre feinfühligere Seite.

Dazu gesellen sich Spekki Webu und Woody92, die niederländischen Köpfe hinter den Labels Mirror Zone und Omen Wapta. Mit Backgrounds in Klangkunst, Komposition und Design verweben sie vielseitige Rhythmen mit extraterrestrischen Klangwelten und narrativen Strukturen, jeder mit seiner eigenen, charakteristischen Ècriture.

Aus New York bringt Akua erfrischende Kontraste ins Spiel: rohe Energie und unmittelbare Dringlichkeit, mit der sie die Essenz von Detroit Techno in scharfe, zeitgenössische Bewegung für heutige Dancefloors übersetzt.

Den Kreis schließt Marco Zenker, der sich für einen seltenen Solo-Auftritt jenseits der Zenker Brothers zeigt und die eigenständige Kraft und Tiefe seines Sounds & Handwerks demonstrieren wird.
