What better way to kick off the first club night of the year than with new and old friends alike.
A frequent visitor to our club, Marie Montexier is a vinyl storyteller through and through and a standout of the current German scene. Her own label Paryìa champions genre-defying sounds and Marie’s highly eclectic sets don’t hold back on unpredictable twists either.
> Don’t believe the hype, not even your own, < claims Velasco, who has honed his work ethic back in the 1990s and channels the spirit of his native New York House and Techno scene. With a penchant for European minimalist grooves, the Berlin-based selector has developed his own, transatlantic sound and plays his Blitz debut in January.
600-Cell returns to our booth and there are few people better suited to open the night: armed with an extensive repertoire and a tried and tested skillset, the local selector thrives on understatement.

Marie Montexier ist eine regelmäßige Gästin unseres Clubs und eine DJ durch und durch: eine Vinyl-Storytellerin und eine prägende Figur der aktuellen deutschen Szene. Ihr eigenes Label Paryìa steht für genreübergreifende Sounds, und auch ihre hochgradig eklektischen Sets scheuen keine unvorhersehbaren Wendungen.
Glaub nicht dem Hype – nicht einmal deinem eigenen, < sagt Velasco, der seine Arbeitsweise bereits in den 1990er-Jahren geprägt hat und den Geist der House- und Techno-Szene seiner Heimat New York in sich trägt. Mit einer Vorliebe für europäische Minimal-Grooves hat der heute in Berlin lebende DJ einen eigenen transatlantischen Sound entwickelt und gibt im Januar sein Blitz-Debüt.
600-Cell kehrt an unser Pult zurück – und es gibt kaum jemanden, der besser geeignet wäre, den Abend zu eröffnen: Mit einem umfangreichen Repertoire und erprobtem Handwerk überzeugt der lokale Selector durch bewusste Zurückhaltung.
