At Blitz, we love to start the weekend with house and good friends in the crowd and the DJ booth. Our dear friends Seth Troxler and Jennifer Cardini are regular guests at Blitz, but their performances and the parties are never ever routine. No matter how often they come, we’re full of excitement the minute the booking is made. If you haven’t caught one of Seth’s memorable appearances at Blitz yet, there’s never been at better time! He’s a restless musician with a wide and pleasantly weird taste that’s ever-curious about the freshest tunes and undiscovered gems from the past. And the best of it is he’s got nothing to prove to anyone. Expect house music of the eclectic sort by a true master of his craft who’s neither afraid to take a risk or to play a guilty pleasure, whether it’s Acid, Electro-Leaning, Tech-House, Hip-House, Disco, Leftfield or whatever your – or his – pleasure is. Jennifer Cardini scores high with her wiry and jagged, yet laid-back brand house & techno dipped in disco colours & flavour. She’s well known to keep her mixes fresh with influences from EBM to New Wave and well, let’s see what story she’ll tell us this time! 

Making their Blitz-debut alongside a string of Blitz-veterans are Zombies in Miami, who are among Mexico’s hottest musical exports. They play and perform house music of the dark-gleaming sort (and neon-coloured accents, of course) and joyously play their way through New-Wave, Disco & Italo Disco vibes, and their performance tonight is powered by the spirited urgency of a live-performance and live vocals, if you like your house music spicy! We are sure you do. 

Our treasured resident Bashkka is, for all the right reasons, steadily climbing the career ladder, playing shows and sets in more and more prestigious clubs around Europe as you’ll surely have noticed by now. But tonight we’re excited to have her back in our, and of course also her, living room on the Museumsinsel to deliver her infamous, thunderous grooves while she turnes up the vibes to 11, faster than you can pronounce > LOVE IS THE MESSAGE <.

Im Blitz eröffnen wir das Wochenende gerne mit House und guten Freund*innen in der Crowd und in der DJ-Booth. Unsere geschätzten Begleiter*innen Seth Troxler und Jennifer Cardini sind regelmäßig Gäste im Blitz, aber ihre Auftritte und die Partys sind nie, wirklich niemals Routine. Egal, wie oft sie kommen, wir sind von der ersten Minute des Bookings an voller Vorfreude. 

Wenn ihr noch keinen von Seths denkwürdigen Auftritten im Blitz erlebt habt, ist jetzt der beste Zeitpunkt. Er ist ein ruheloser Musiker mit einem breiten und angenehm weirden Geschmack, der schon immer ein neugieriges Ohr für die frischesten Melodien und unentdeckten Perlen der Vergangenheit hat. Aber das Beste an ihm: er muss niemandem etwas beweisen. Freut euch auf House-Musik der eklektischen Art von einem wahren Meister seines Fachs, der sich nicht scheut, ein Risiko einzugehen oder auch ein “guilty pleasure” zu spielen, egal ob es Acid, Electro-Leaning, Tech-House, Hip-House, Disco, Leftfield oder aus einer ganz anderen Ecke kommt. 

Jennifer Cardini punktet mit ihrer drahtigen und zackigen, aber dennoch ausgesprochen laid-backen Interpretation von House und Techno mit Disco-Affinität. Aber sie ist auch dafür bekannt, ihre Mixe mit Einflüssen von EBM bis New Wave lebendig und unberechenbar zu halten. Let’s see welche Geschichte sie uns dieses Mal erzählen wird!

Neben einer Reihe Blitz-Veteranen geben die Zombies in Miami, die zu den heißesten Musikexporten Mexikos gehören, ihr Blitz-Debüt. Sie spielen und performen House-Musik der dunkel schimmernden Sorte (natürlich mit neonfarben-gesetzten Akzenten) und spielen sich fröhlich durch New-Wave-, Disco- und Italo-Disco-Vibes. Ihre Auftrete leben vom temperamentvollen Sturm & Drang ihrer Live-Vocals und Performances – wir lieben House mit Schuss.

Unsere geschätzte Resident Bashkka spielt sich aus allen guten Gründen aktuell stetig die Karriereleiter hinauf und versetzt mit ihren Sets immer mehr renommiert Clubs in ganz Europa in Ekstase, wie ihr sicher schon bemerkt habt. Heute Abend freuen wir uns, sie wieder in unserem und natürlich auch in ihrem Wohnzimmer auf der Museumsinsel zu haben, wo sie ihre berühmt-berüchtigt, kräftigen Grooves auspackt und die Vibes schneller auf 11 regelt, als wir alle > LOVE IS THE MESSAGE < rufen können.
