DVS1, a veteran of the US-scene, is all about the raw and unadulterated sound of techno. He draws inspiration from the underground scene, infusing his sets with a gritty and industrial edge that at the same time recognises there’s more to underground than just its musical perspective. He’s a vocal advocate for the preservation of underground music culture and the democratisation of the industry. Involved in various initiatives, he seeks to raise awareness about the negative impact of gentrification on music venues and communities and many more issues. DVS1’s music is a testament to his belief in the power of music as a tool for social change and this dedication is easily felt on the dance floor.
Full EFX is a new moniker of New York’s Anthony Parasole, whose sound draws on a wide range of influences, from classic techno and deep house and disco to more experimental sounds. Notably influenced by the raw and on-point qualities of New York’s street music, especially hip-hop, his sets are an exploration of the diverse sounds of the bubbling metropolis New York City. Now he’s visiting Blitz with a new live-set under his Full EFX moniker you don’t want to miss.
Krystal Klear, meanwhile, is a master of blending genres, seamlessly weaving together disco, funk, and house to create a sound that’s equally nostalgic and modern. His sets are a celebration of dance music history, with a focus on the joy and energy that comes from a well crafted and groove-orientated dancefloor-dramaturgies.
Courtesy has a different understanding of musical dramaturges that are just as gripping though. Based on trance and techno, her sets play with dazzling contrasts. Whether it’s euphoria and dystopia, high definition bright supersaws or raw, noise-leaning sounds, straight rhythms or breakbeats: Courtesy distills maximum impact from all the contradictions she plays with and creates spellbinding experiences from this energy. Our versatile resident Sascha Sibler plays infectious grooves right at the sweet spot of our two guests on the PLUS floor: with buoyant elegance, infectious rhythm and utter cool.

DVS1, ein Veteran der US-Szene, ist ein Techno-Purst im besten Sinne und zieht seine Inspiration und Kraft aus dem Underground. Rein klanglich, wie er seine Sets mit düsteren und industriellen Sounds inszeniert, aber auch soziokulturell, denn Zak Khutoretsky,  weiß, dass “Underground” weit mehr als nur “Sound” ist. DVS1 ist ein lautstarker Verfechter der Erhaltung der Underground-Musikkultur und der Demokratisierung der Branche. Er hat sich in verschiedenen Initiativen engagiert und versucht, das Bewusstsein für die negativen Auswirkungen der Gentrifizierung auf Clubs und ihre Communities zu schärfen. Die Musik von DVS1 zeugt von seinem Glauben an die Kraft der Musik als Werkzeug des Widerstands und des sozialen Wandels, und dieses Engagement ist auf der Tanzfläche leicht zu spüren.
Full EFX ist ein neues Pseudonym des New Yorkers Anthony Parasole , der aus einem breiten Spektrum an Einflüssen schöpft, von klassischem Techno über Deep House und Disco bis hin zu experimentellen Klängen. Seine Sets sind vor allem von der rohen und unmittelbaren Energie der New Yorker Streetculture, insbesondere des Hip-Hop beeinflusst und sind damit auch eine Entdeckungsreise durch den vielfältigen musikalischen Kosmos der US-Metropole New York City. Das Blitz besucht er dieses Mal mit einem Live-Set unter dem Namen Full EFX. Wir sind höchst gespannt darauf, in welche musikalischen Sphären er uns mit diesem Set entführen wird.
Krystal Klear spielt einen gleichermaßen nostalgischen wie modernen Sound, der Disco, Funk und House nahtlos miteinander verwebt. Seine Sets können als Hommage an die Geschichte der Tanzmusik gelesen werden und bestehen durch die Energie, vor allem aber die euphorische Freude, die sich bei feinfühlig entwickelten, Groove-orientierten Dramaturgien auf dem Dancefloor einstellen.
Courtesy wiederum zeichnet sich durch eine ganz andere Herangehensweise an Dramaturgie aus, die ebenso fesselnd ist. Ihre Sets fußen auf Trance und Techno und bestechen durch das Spiel mit Kontasten. Egal ob es sich dabei um euphorische oder dystopische Stimmungen, hochauflösende, schillernde Supersaw-Sounds oder grobe, noise-orientierte Sounds, oder auch straighte Rhythmen und Breakbeats handelt: Courtesy extrahiert berauschende Momente aus diesen Gegensätzen, die lang in Erinnerung bleiben. Unser Resident Sascha Sibler spielt betörende Grooves, direkt an der Schnittstelle unserer beiden Gäste auf dem PLUS Floor: mit luftiger Eleganz, unwiederstehlichen Grooves und beeindruckender Coolness.
