DJ Gigola and Interplanetary Criminal play decidedly perky and defiant and their approaches are amiably different due to their hometowns, countries and history and reflect the current musical trends of their respective home base.
Whereas the Berlin based DJ Gigola is one of the driving members of the capital cities notorious Live From Earth gang that are currently rewriting the Techno rulebook with sometimes direct, at times indirect influences of (german) Hip-Hop, Pop, Trance and Gabber, Interplanetary Criminal keeps it bri’tish, bruv. The Mancunian DJ and producer is one of the > NUKG < (New UK Garage) scene’s most exciting figures. He has scored one of 2022’s biggest dance music hits with > B.T.O.A. < and has curated the latest edition of the revered and historic, longstanding UKG compilation > All Through The Night <, too. Both artists are stunning DJs and producers in their own right and score with an approachable and savvy approach to currently vital strains of dance music.
Our resident vince is equally skilled at dishing out smooth and slick grooves from the borders of House and Techno realm as well as jaunty, rocking beats – catch him in rave mode tonight next to DJ Gigiola and Interplanetary Criminal.
