DJ Rush, the Chicago (Hard-)Techno institution has enjoyed a revival of the unique kind in recent years. Known for his jagged and swift, pointy funk he’s – unjustly and unfortunately! – often been misunderstood as someone pushing the beats and grooves too hard in the once comparatively slow paced American Techno scene. The resurgence and trend of hard and fast techno has made DJ Rush’s unique and timeless appeal much clearer and easier to understand, and now he serves as a veteran and guiding light for those that marry hard and funky, driving and soulful beats.
Contemporary and beguiling, stygian machine music comes from Berlin based Olivia Mendez and Munich mainstay, Molten Moods head and Blitz regular Jonas Yamer that supply our dance floor with agile grooves. Japanese DJ Wata Igarashi adds a different touch to the floor with psychedelic, stunning and maybe even the most nuanced and differentiated obsidian soundscapes you’ll get to experience in the Techno scene, so better sharpen those ears!
Munich based, vinyl-only label Different Times return to the PLUS floor for more puristic and hypnotic Techhouse. Sharing the hands-on, vinyl only attitude is Kyiv’s Closer Club resident and Wicked-Bass imprint head Noizar who arranges the blips and beeps, analogue synths and drums on wax with a sharp delivery and irresistible appeal. Berlin’s Olya Smok heads for similar sonic realms with a penchant for the lush and low-key and above all: class!, while Munich’s very own David Hornung and Different Times crew core member dazzles and entrances us with sophistication!

DJ Rush, die Chicagoer (Hard-)Techno-Institution hat in den letzten Jahren ein Revival der besonderen Art erlebt. Bekannt für seinen kräftigen und schnellen, pointierten Funk wurde er – zu Unrecht und leider! – oft als jemand missverstanden, der die Beats und Grooves in der einst vergleichsweise langsamen amerikanischen Techno-Szene zu sehr auf die Spitze treiben wollte. Der aktuelle Trend zu hartem und schnellem Techno hat DJ Rushs einzigartige und zeitlose Anziehungskraft dafür umso deutlicher und greifbar gemacht. Nun dient er Leitstern und Vorbild für alle, die harte und funkige als auch treibende Beats mit dem gefühlvollen Swing verbinden wollen.

Zeitgenössische und betörende, nachtschwarze Maschinenmusik kommt von der Berlinerin Olivia Mendez und dem Münchner Molten Moods-Chef und Blitz-Alumni Jonas Yamer, die unsere Tanzfläche mit agilen Grooves versorgen. Der japanische DJ Wata Igarashi bringt mit psychedelischen und vielleicht sogar den nuanciertesten und differenziertesten dunklen Soundscapes, die man in der Techno-Szene erleben kann, einen weiteren, spannenden Touch auf die Tanzfläche heut Abend – spitzt die Ohren und schwingt die Tanzbeine!

Das Münchner Vinyl-Label Different Times kehrt mit puristischem und hypnotischem Techhouse auf den PLUS Floor zurück. Der Kiewer Closer Club Resident und Kopf des Wicked-Bass-Imprints Noizar, arrangiert analoge Synthies, Drums und Geräusche mit scharfer Ansprache und unwiderstehlicher Anziehungskraft und teilt die Hands-on,-Vinyl-Only-Haltung der Different Times Crew. Die Berliner Olya Smok bewegt sich in ähnlichen klanglichen Gefilden, mit einer Vorliebe für das üppige und unaufdringliche Texturen und vor allem mit viel Gefühl, während der Münchner David Hornung, Mitglied der Different Times-Crew, uns mit raffinierten Dramaturgien und Grooves verzaubert.
