Unsere geschätzte Resident Bashkka kuratiert eine Clubnacht nach diesen Prinzipien, die sich in Klang & Rhythmus ausdrücken. Eine Ode an die Künstler*innen, die abseits der demographischen Normen und des Medienrummels einen Platz im Rampenlicht verdient haben.

A residency programme of the Polyphonic.museum for sound sculptures in venues. From 20.10.2023 to 02.12.2023 in Blitz Club’s foyer.

The Polyphonic.museum is a museum for sound sculptures in which the presentation of sound art combines to form a polyphonic discourse between artists, curators and the public. With its ongoing archive work, the Polyphonic.museum contributes to establishing the meaningful unity of visual art and music and to rethinking interferences.

A) Karin Zwack & aus, Halsar
Material: 2-channel AV Installation, 16’00” / 13’38”, 2015

Two independently running video loops show still images of webcams. They show unedited footage of landscapes, characterized by fades and image interferences that Karin Zwack has collected and selected over a period of six years. Each image is accompanied by a minimalist sound composition by the Japanese musician Yasuhiko Fukozono (aus).
In the ever-renewing interplay of two audiovisual loops, the installation condenses into a structure of multi-layered meanings.

B) Anton Kaun, Harshnoise Doll
Material: Wood, Metal, Tape
Anton Kaun’s Harshnoise doll meditates on the self-perception of noise.

Ein Residenzprogramm des Polyphonic.Museum 
für Klangskulpturen in Veranstaltungsorten – vom 20.10.2023 bis 02.12.2023 im Foyer des Blitz Club.

Das Polyphonic.Museum ist ein Museum für Klangskulpturen, in dem sich die Präsentation von Klangkunst zu einem vielstimmigen Diskurs zwischen Künstler:innen, Kurator:innen und der Öffentlichkeit verbindet. Mit seiner fortlaufenden Archivarbeit trägt das Polyphonic.Museum dazu bei die sinnstiftende Einheit von bildender Kunst und Musik zu etablieren und Interferenzen neu zu denken.

Karin Zwack & aus, Halsar
Material: 2-Channel AV Installation, 16’00” / 13’38”, 2015
Zwei zeitlich unabhängig voneinander laufenden Video-loops zeigen Standbilder aus Webcams. Es sind nicht nachbearbeitete, teilweise von Überblendungen und  Bildstörungen gezeichnete Landschaften, die Karin Zwack über einen Zeitraum von sechs Jahren für das Projekt sammelte und selektierte. Jedes Bild ist mit einer minimalistischen Klangkomposition versehen, die von dem japanischen Musiker Yasuhiko Fukozono (aus) erarbeitet wurde. Im immer neuen Zusammenspiel zweier audio- visueller Loops verdichtet sich die Installation zu einem Gefüge aus mehrschichtigen Bedeutungen.

Die Harshnoise Puppe von Anton Kaun meditiert über das Selbstverständnis ‚in Noise‘.
