Update 02:10: Unfortunately, Kareem El Morr had to cancel his performance at short notice. But our resident whrilwind Stenny is here to save the opening slot! We’re delighted to announce that the Glaskin brothers will join us on a short notice, too, to round out a night of grand grooves.

Join us for a very special BLITZNACHT SPEZIAL on the night before German Reunification Day, featuring none other than the grand dame of Berlin Techno, Ellen Allien, alongside Nur Jaber, Kareem El Morr, and Ryan Elliott, with Lavandonia bringing breezy, carefree grooves to our PLUS floor.

Ellen Allien: a name and a legacy. She has been at the forefront of Berlin’s Techno scene since the ’90s and shows no signs of slowing down. From early gigs at revered clubs as Bunker, Tresor, and E-Werk to her influential label BPitch Control—which launched careers of artists like Paul Kalkbrenner and Modeselektor, and now champions talents like Rosa Anschütz — curating her We Are Not Alone parties, supplying remxies for labels like Warp and mute and so forth: Ellen continues to drive the scene with her zest for action. What keeps her going? It’s the music, stupid – she’s never made a fuss of what she loves and that’s why she’s a cherished guest at Blitz. A rite of passage for every Techno fan. Nur Jaber is a euphoric selector and a skilled summoner of dark, trippy psychedelia—ready to guide us deep into the void. The skilled local Kareem El Morr plays sleek and state-of-the-art, high-grade Techno. The opening slot is crucial for the night and party and that’s where DJs like Kareem El Morr prove their weight.

Over on the PLUS floor, Lavandonia and Ryan Elliott will deliver a lighter, funkier contrast. Blitz fans will remember Ryan’s mesmerizing closing set at the last Unchained open-air bash. His seamless blend of House and Techno, infused with groove and heart,  and the months have proven that the Detroit-gone-Berlin funkmachine is in full bloom, once again! Equally flourishing is Lavandonia: The vinyl-only Münchnerin is carrying more and more colourful sprouts with a very demure, very mindful attitude and a consistent curation of supple Techhouse-grooves.
