Built on „ceaseless sonic exploration”, Hayes is a Portuguese electronic music collective run by artists such as Nørbak, Temudo and more, founded by menosdois. In recent times, it has become one of the more compelling labels at the detailed end of European techno.
Artur Moreira aka Nørbak grew up in the north of Portugal and has released across Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, Soma, Mord, Modularz and Token, building a production practice shaped by dense digital sound design. His Flor do Fatalismo LP on Axis was recorded in a single day on a Dave Smith Evolver synthesizer, the day of buying his only piece of hardware so far. His latest release Chuva dropped on Token in 2026.
Temudo came to techno through jazz training and a period in drum and bass, later taking degrees in Sound and Music Technology before channelling those tools into records on Klockworks, Soma and Clergy. The two have recorded together: I Will Guide Thy Hand, a collaborative EP on Modularz. Their sets carry the same precision their productions do.
Framing the night are FJAAK, consisting of Felix Wagner and Aaron Röbig, who grew up together in Berlin’s western Spandau district and founded Spandau20 as both label and local hub, and Kareem El Morr, Munich-born Blitz resident and co-founder of the local roots.audio imprint alongside Reduks and VSSL.
