The Live From Earth crew is back and you know what that means: begone are the times of monochrome and sinister techno, as the infamous Berlin collective is back to spell out P A R T Y in bold and locked font with their celebration-affirmative and crossover-friendly blend of (Uptempo-)Techno, Gabber, Hardcore, Hip-Hop and Pop. Perfectly suited for one of the year’s earlier and shorter party nights before All Saints Day – we start at 20.00 and end at 02:00 and that’s more than enough time for the LFE-collective to lift the roof off our dancefloor.
Next to the well-known MCR-T that’s currently shaking up the scene with an equally nonchalant as well as inciting brand of Rap-infused (Hardcore-)Techno, Courtesy joins the bill – an interesting and fitting choice for the party. The Danish DJ and producer has been at the forefront of the current Techno-Trance-Wave for years, yet her performance style is decidedly slow in stark contrast to her brand of music with no FX or barely any mixing, mainly playing tracks and songs from start to end, focussing on the music’s atmosphere. Her approach is polarizing, but the results and the success speaks for itself. Najaaraq Vestbirk is one of the current scene’s singular performers and producers – a personality with poise you don’t want to miss.
Paul Seul, co-founder of the Parisian Casual Gabberz collective delivers what the name of the group promises, and Perra Inmunda, the Colombian, Berlin-based non-binary rapper and performer has been a well received guest at the last Live From Earth nights at Blitz, dishing out more of the overdriven beats and grooves the collective is lauded for.

Erneut heißen wir die Live From Earth-Crew in unserem Club willkommen und ihr wisst, was das bedeutet: Vorbei sind die Zeiten von monochromem und düsterem Techno, denn das berühmt-berüchtigte Berliner Kollektiv ist wieder da, um mit ihrer feier- und crossover-freundlichen Mischung aus (Uptempo-)Techno, Gabber, Hardcore, Hip-Hop und Pop in fetter und geschlossener Schrift P A R T Y zu buchstabieren. Perfekt geeignet für eine der früheren und kürzeren Partynächte des Jahres vor Allerheiligen – wir beginnen um 20.00 Uhr und enden um 02:00 Uhr, doch das ist mehr als genug Zeit für das LFE-Kollektiv, um unsere Tanzfläche zum Beben zu bringen.
Neben MCR-T, der derzeit die Szene mit seinem ebenso lässigen wie anregenden (Hardcore-)Techno mit Rap-Einschlag aufmischt, ist Courtesy mit von der Partie – eine interessante und passende Wahl für diese Party. Die dänische DJin und Produzentin steht seit Jahren an der Spitze der aktuellen Techno-Trance-Welle, doch ihr Performance-Stil ist ausgesprochen langsam und steht im krassen Kontrast zu ihrer Musik, die ohne FX und kaum Mixing auskommt und hauptsächlich Tracks und Songs von Anfang bis Ende spielt und sich auf die Atmosphäre der Musik konzentriert. Ihr Ansatz polarisiert, aber die Ergebnisse und der Erfolg sprechen für sich. Najaaraq Vestbirk ist eine der herausragenden Künstlerinnen und Produzentinnen der aktuellen Szene – eine Persönlichkeit mit Haltung, die man nicht verpassen sollte.
Paul Seul, Mitbegründer des Pariser Kollektivs Casual Gabberz, hält, was der Name der Gruppe verspricht, und Perra Inmunda, die kolumbianische, in Berlin lebende nicht-binäre Rapperin und Performerin, war ein gern gesehener Gast bei den letzten Live From Earth-Nächten im Blitz, wo sie die überdrehten Beats und Grooves, für die das Kollektiv gelobt wird, weiter ausbreitete.
