Circle of Live surely is among the top exciting and fascinating real time performances of the decade. The idea is as simple as complex and impressive: a well selected team of artists gets together with all their equipment in a club and performs live… the entire night. Flashing lights, blinking frequencies and twisted knobs, a musical composition can be heard for this moment only, there’s surely tension in the air. The man behind the idea is Sebastian Mullaert, an artist that many of us might still remember as the driving force behind Minilogue – the outfit that already made waves back in the nineties. When it comes to the studio and live performances of the Swede, you can clearly tell that they are influenced by his affection for spiritual and meditative practices. Sebastians productions are always thought and powerful, while being warm and well balanced at the same time. For this night, he invited the Canadian The Mole into the circle, another artist that doesn’t lack in experience: The Mole constantly delivers pure quality for quite some time. Be it his constantly growing catalogue with releases on his very own imprint Maybe Tomorrow or Wagon Repair or his beautiful love performances, Colin de la Plante knows what he does and it’s house music at its best. Anticipation! Excitement! Compulsory attendance!

“The main intention with Circle of Live is to inspire people to improvise; let their life be an improvisation; a spontaneous expression of life. In one perspective this is a concept with clear visions and definitions but at the same time the core aim of the project is to allow both us, the artists, and the audience to drop concepts and habitual patterns in the creative process of dance and music.” – Sebastian Mullaert

Colin de la Plante knows what he does and it’s house music at its best. Vorfreude, Aufregung, Anwesenheitspflicht.
