Cologne’s reputation for electronic music might not shine as bright as it used to after the heyday of Kompakt and the Sound Of Cologne in the 90ies and mid 00’s, but true connoisseurs know about the plethora of stunning electronic music emerging from the Rhine-river. Club Heart Broken is one of the youngest hypes from the West-German metropolis. The self-proclaimed party for > lovers, loners and Drake enthusiasts < has been spreading its joyous, unabashed and blunt vision of fun across Germany for years now and right now Blitz and Club Heart Broken are teaming up for the enthusiastic and insurgent posse’s first party in Munich for all (ex-)lovers, friends and weirdos.
Maluigi, one of the group’s central players, approaches Munich with surf2glory, Ferrari Rot and the buzzed-about TSHA from London. But above all: they bring their multidimensional approaches to
contemporary club music to Blitz, that’s melodic and trance focussed and spans House, Bass Music & RnB, with a healthy, post-internet schooled idea of Kitsch.
No shame, no blame and feelings first are tonight’s motto, when all the freaks and weirdos that make a good party meld on the dance floor.
