Cruise is ready for boarding! The last party in March showed us again clearly what Cruise is all about: good people, good vibes and good music. And this time won’t be any different. All our DJs shine with excellent track selection, but are united by their commitment to the dance scene. Because: every community thrives from mutual support and looking out for one another. DVS1, the mighty master of slick techno with decades of involvement in the dance circuit will steer the cruise at full speed tonight. It’s just recently that he showed how much the wellbeing of the entire electronic music landscape is close to his heart. Launching the platform “Aslice”, he wants to give producers a fair share of the pie with the opportunity to participate in the financial success of DJs. It’s always great to see big names step up for the underdogs, but then we always knew that DVS1 is a team player by conviction. UK-oriented techno with trippy, hallucinogenic touches, unified by her bright and colourful mixing style are Marie Montexier’s forte. She creates much-needed space for up-and-coming flinta* and non-binary artists* with her label Paryìya and the party series Précey in her old home base Cologne. Blitz founder and resident Muallem, always a man of the people, will tenderly ensnare the happenings on the BLITZ Floor with his groovy, red-hot picks. The PLUS floor is all about soulful house-vibes tonight. Octo Octa knows about the worth of strong kinships and the need to nourish them. During the pandemic, she started giving workshops for rising DJs and producers. And together with her partner Eris Drew, with whom she runs the admired T4T LUV NRG label, they made their accumulated studio and DJ knowledge accessible to the next generation, too! All of these experiences make their mark on the dance floor: Her euphoric, breakbeat-heavy house sets are perfectly suited to really make the cruise sparkle at night. It’s always a pleasure to have Cormac behind our decks: his presence and joy is simply irresistible. Only at the end of February he released  Sparks, a wonderfully uplifting disco-house anthem that has stuck with us ever since. Our new resident Bashkka, a well respected DJ with an acquired taste in house music and a fighter for safe spaces for BIPOC & FLINTA* personalities in Munich will fulfil your deepest dancefloor desires.

Die Cruise ist ready for Boarding! Die letzte Nacht im März hat uns wieder deutlich gezeigt, worum es bei Cruise geht: Gemeinschaft und gute Musik. Und auch der heutige Ausflug auf der MS Cruise steht ganz in diesem Zeichen. All unsere DJs überzeugen durch exzellente Trackauswahl, aber auch Engagement für die Community neben dem Dancefloor, für den Dancefloor. Denn: Jede Community lebt vom Geben & Nehmen, vom gegenseitigen Support und vom respektvollen Miteinander. Wie sehr ihm das Wohl der gesamten Szene am Herz liegt, zeigte DVS1 erst vor kurzem wieder. Mit der von ihm neu ins Leben gerufenen Plattform Aslice will er Produzent*Innen, am finanziellen Erfolg der DJs beteiligen. Das ist bitter nötig, dass sich einer der bekanntesten und besten DJs der Welt mit seinem Rang und Namen für dieses Thema einsetzt, noch besser. Und mit astreinem Techno und jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung an den Decks wird er die Cruise im höchsten Gang geradeaus durch die Nacht steuern. Auf das Blitz-Debüt der Wahlleipzigerin Marie Montextier freuen wir uns schon länger. Mit UK-orientierten Techno und dem richtigen Riecher für trippige Zwischentöne spielt sie sich mit ihrem hellen, farbenfrohen Style aktuell in die internationalen Tänzerherzen. Mit ihrem Label Paryìya und der Partyreihe Précey in ihrer alten Homebase Köln schafft sie dringend benötigen Raum für aufstrebende Flinta* und Nonbinary-Künstler*innen in der Szene. Unser Blitz-Gründer und Resident Muallem, schon immer ein Mann der Community, wird das Geschehen auf dem BLITZ Floor mit seiner stilvollen Auswahl gefühlvoll umgarnen. Der PLUS Floor steht auch heute im Zeichen beseelter House-Vibes. Auch Octo Octa hat den Wert gewachsener Gemeinschaften und die Bedeutung, diese zu fördern bestens verstanden: Mit ihrer Partnerin Eris Drew, mit der sie das T4T LUV NRG Label betreibt, machen sie beispielsweise ihre gesammelten Studio- und DJ Erfahrungen für die kommende Generation zugänglich, Online wie in persönlichen Workshops. Das hört man auch auf dem Dancefloor: Ihre euphorischen, Breakbeat-lastigen House-Sets sind bestens geeignet, die Gemeinschaft zum Strahlen und die Cruise zum Leuchten zu bringen. Auf Cormac freuen wir uns jedes Mal wieder. Seine unwiderstehlich euphorische Art und Weise hinter den Decks erfüllt wirklich jeden Raum mit Leben. Erst Ende Februar hat er mit Sparks eine erhebende Disco-House-Hymne in die Welt gesetzt, die uns seitdem nicht mehr losgelassen hat. Unsere neue Resident Bashkka, exzellente House-DJ und Kämpferin für Safe Spaces für BIPOC & FLINTA*-Persönlichkeiten in München wird es mit euch ebenfalls richtig krachen lassen.
