Our monthly queer Cruise event runs on love, lust and sweat and July’s edition will take us on an electronic music holiday at full speed and steam. More than ever, we advise you to dress light, because it’s going to get red hothothot!
Our illustrious guests on the BLITZ floor cover a lot of ground to satisfy all of your dancefloor desires. Paranoid London puts the punk into techno with a provocative and infectious approach on live sets, with features ranging from Josh Caffé to the late Alan Vega from the seminal Suicide. Gay Chicago House, Detroit Techno, New York Punk & New Wave meet in their Acid-leaning Sets that are guaranteed to take our Cruise to boiling point.
Our two good friends and regulars, DJ Spit and Nene H are among Germany’s most exciting artists among the new generation – and for all the right reasons. Both play highly contemporary, wide-ranging sets: Paul Krause spins a dazzling, state-of-the-art Bass & Techno hybrid, whereas Nene H bridges the stylistic gap between formats such as discerning Berlin Atonal and the overdriven Live From Earth Klub-crew. Kareem El Morr is easily one of Munich’s most underrated DJs and producers – his Bass & Breaks infused Techno-Blend for the closing will make sure our ecstatic Cruise-crowd will remember him well.
Luring you to the wavier side of House on the PLUS floor are Jennifer Cardini, Zombies in Miami and Rosa Red who keep it cool amidst steamy and sweaty conditions! With Zombies in Miami having releases on Cardini’s Correspondant imprint, it makes sense to have them join forces on the PLUS floor. The powerduo from Mexico plays irresistible sets with undeniable cool, yet feverish passion and draw on (Italo-) Disco, House with a balearic twist, while Jennifer Cardini’s oxymoron blend of incendiary, yet ice-cool grooves from Disco, House & EBM, with a subtle penchant for the dark and goth has made her one of the international circuits most recognizable and interesting figures. Our regular guest Rosa Red is the perfect match to Cardini’s and the Zombies’s connection, with her House-leaning sets and her informed knowledge of Disco and the gloom around Post-Punk & New-Wave.

Unsere Gäste auf dem BLITZ Floor decken ein weites musikalisches Spektrum ab. Paranoid London unterstreichen den Punk im Techno, haben sich mit ihren aufwieglerischen und dringlichen Live-Shows einen Ruf als formidabler Live-Act erspielt und haben eindrucksvolle Features mit Josh Caffé und dem (leider verstorbenen) Alan Vega der legendären Porto-No-Wavern Suicide vorzuweisen. Queerer Chicago House, Detroit Techno, aber auch der Punk & New Wave New Yorks vereinen sich in den Acid-lastigen Sets des Duos, die unsere Cruise schnell zum Siedepunkt treiben wird. Unsere guten Freunde und regelmäßigen Gäste DJ Spit und Nene H gehören nicht ohne Grund zu den spannendsten Künstler*innen derzeit. Paul Krause spielt den aktuell vielleicht beeindruckendsten Hybrid aus Techno- und Bassmusik, wohingegen Nene H sich mit ihren Sets zwischen unterschiedlichen Formaten wie dem anspruchsvollen Berlin Atonal und der schrillen und frenetischen Live From Earth Klub bewegt und den stilistischen Spagat dabei mit Bestnote schafft. Kareem El Morr und seine Break-Techno orientierten Produktionen und Sets gehören zum aufregendsten, was unsere Isarmetropole zu bieten hat – beste Voraussetzung für das Closing Set auf unserer Juli-Cruise.

Jennifer Cardini, Rosa Red und Zombies in Miami bleiben mit Wave inspirierten House-Sets cool auf dem PLUS Floor. Zombies in Miami aus Mexiko spielen unwiderstehliche Sets mit Verve und Leidenschaft, aber vor allem (Italo-)Disco und House mit balearischem Einschlag, wohingegen Jennifer Cardini’s mit ihrer sinnlichen Mischung abgebrühter Grooves aus Disco, House und EBM zu einem Liebling der internationalen Clubszene wurde. Die bei uns regelmäßige gastierende Rosa Red ist die perfekte Ergänzung zur symbiotischen Verbindung von Jennifer Cardini und Zombies in Miami: mit ihren House-lastigen Sets und ihrem weiten Wissen und Verständnis von Disco, aber auch dem Gloom von Post-Punk und Disco ist sie das dritte und finale Puzzelstück auf dem PLUS Floor.
