Only last month we celebrated five years of Cruise and now we’re picking up where we left off: with dark and driving techno sounds on the BLITZ floor, a house-y contrast programme next door on the PLUS floor, with loads of love, empathy and sweat, and of course you: The Cruise crowd, who always make our hearts beat faster.
Please give it up for Polygonia. We’re delighted to have one the best and promising local players back in our booth. She’s making waves on the national, as well as international techno circuit for all the right reasons. She’s a hard-working DJ, producer and label head and whatever she does, it’s all about going down deep, no half measures. Lindsey Wang plays challenging, meticulous crafted mixes that are lauded for their tasteful handling of otherworldly textures and atmospherics as well as gently driving rhythms that subtly seize all your senses.
“Finest electronic sounds for people on dance floors and in living rooms!” is the motto of Mojuba Records, which Don Williams founded in 2005, and the slogan already gives you a rough idea of what is sets are about. Demanding music to dance to, in the best Detroit techno style.
Cali Rose was heavily influenced by Los Angeles’ punk & goth scene while growing up.  She’ll make you sweat with her dark and fast, yet seductive blend of acid techno, industrial & trance.
Our next guest, on the PLUS Floor, is DJ Minx, straight from Detroit. The scene veteran plays the house sound of the motor city, marked by funk, disco, R&B and soul, with fervour and irresistible groove. With her label Woman On Wax, she has also created an influential platform to support female DJs and producers from in and around Detroit. Very good, and very important stuff too, and that makes DJ Minx even more impressive than she already is. Budino lives up to her Italian roots. She plays the very best cosmic and riveting Italo disco tunes and likes to underpin her sets with influences from electro as well as new wave, but also likes to spice up the mix with soul- & playful synthesiser jams or subtle trance numbers. And last but not least, Muallem’s stylish selection will get you groovin’ in no time. We’re hyped and can’t wait to dance!

Erst letzten Monaten haben wir fünf Jahre Cruise gefeiert und auf die nächsten fünf Jahre angestoßen, heute setzen wir das Vorhaben gleich in die Tat um. Wir machen dort weiter, wo wir aufgehört haben: mit darken und treibenden Techno-Sounds auf dem BLITZ-Floor, einem housigen Kontrastprogramm nebenan im PLUS, mit viel Liebe, Empathie und Schweiß und natürlich euch: Der Cruise-Crowd, die unsere Herzen immer wieder höher schlagen lässt.
Polygonia ist eine der beeindruckensten und vielversprechendsten Künstlerinnen aus München und wir freuen uns, sie wieder hinter unseren Decks zu haben. Sie ist eine harte arbeitende DJ, Produzentin und Labelchefin, die aktuell deutschlandweit, aber auch international von sich reden macht. Das kommt nicht von Ungefähr, denn Lindsey Wang macht keine halben Sachen und geht keine unnötigen Kompromisse in der Musik ein. Als DJ entwickelt sie anspruchsvolle, akribisch ausgearbeitete Mixe, die für ihren feinsinnigen Umgang mit Texturen und Atmosphären sowie sanft treibenden Rhythmen geschätzt werden und auf zarte Weise alle Sinne vereinnahmen.

Cali Rose hört man an, dass sie von der Goth & Punk Szene in ihrer Heimatstadt Los Angeles beeinflusst worden ist. Sie spielt eine dunkle und treibende, gleichwohl verführerische Mischung aus Acid Techno, Industrial & Trance die euch zum Schwitzen bringen wird.
Aus Detroit ist auch unser nächster Gast, DJ Minx. Die Szeneveteranin spielt den von Funk, Disco, R&B als auch Soul gezeichneten House-Sound der Motorcity mit Inbrunst und unwiderstehlichem Groove. Mit dem Label Woman On Wax hat sie zudem eine bedeutende Plattform geschaffen, um weibliche DJs und Producerinnen von in und um Detroit zu unterstützen. Finden wir wichtig, finden wir gut und macht DJ Minx noch beeindruckender, als sie ohnehin schon ist. Wir freuen uns außerordentlich auf ihr Blitz-Debüt. Budino macht ihren italienischen Wurzeln alle Ehre. Sie spielt kosmischen wie mitreißenden Italo-Disco par excellence und unterfüttert ihre Sets gerne mit Elektro als auch New-Wave, aber würzt dabei gerne auch mal beherzt, aber immer gefühlvoll verspielte Synthesizer-Jams oder subtile Trance-Nummern in den Mix. Und nicht zuletzt wird euch Muallem mit seiner stilsicheren Auswahl mächtig in Schwung bringen.
