Club culture is closely tied to and is grounded on queer communities (of colour) and culture. Always has and always will be, full stop. We believe every good electronic dance music club should be aware of these historical connections – it goes without further ado that Blitz Club is a space for all forms of queers and non-binary gender roles, not just on Christopher Street Day which commemorates the Stone Wall Riots 1969 in New York. Today we celebrate even longer and brighter, with a 24hour party that goes all night and all day on our BLITZ and PLUS floors, as well as our special and cherished Pop-Up Pop floor and outside in the open-air Posthof from midday, weather permitting.
A party for the LGTBQI+ communities, their allies and friends of good dance music.

But all cultural and historical ties aside: let’s party with our brothers and sisters from the LGTBQI+ community. Let’s embrace and elevate, celebrate and uplift all forms of queerness. With an animate lineup that covers many of the styles we promote and house at Blitz!

Consisting of the two legendary House icons DJ Deep and Francois Kevorkian or the New York City veteran Justin Strauss. Or esteemed international artists such as Cashu, Chlär, Dr. Rubinstein or Fred P. Good friends such as IsBurning’s Carlos Valdes, B 4ME & Erhyc, Felix Rupprecht, Paquita Gordon, Rosa Red, Virginia. And of course, our acclaimed residents 600-Cell and Stenny! Let’s celebrate together!

Clubkultur und queere Communities (of Colour) gehören fest zusammen – ohne die Community wäre Clubkultur nicht denkbar. So war es und so wird es auch immer sein, ganz einfach.
Wir glauben, dass sich alle guten Clubs, die sich der elektronischen Tanzmusik verschrieben haben, dieser historischen Connection bewusst sein sollten. Es steht außer Frage, dass das Blitz ein Ort ist, der die unterschiedlichsten Formen & Auffassungen von Queerness und Genderrollen respektiert und unterstützt, schätzt und schützt.
Und das nicht nur am Christopher–Street–Day, der an die Stone Wall Riots aus dem Jahr 1969 erinnert. Am Samstag den 24/06 und Sonntag den 25/06 feiern wir diese Vielfalt jedoch mit einer außergewöhnlich bunten, und lebensbejahenden, 24-Stunden andauernden, Nacht und Tag umfassenden Party auf unseren beiden BLITZ und PLUS Floors, aber auch unserem besonderen Pop-Up Floor und ab Mittag dann draußen, Open Air, im Posthof hinter dem Blitz.

Aber fernab aller historischen Zusammenhänge: wir feiern eine große Party im Zeichen der Toleranz und Vielfalt, für und mit unseren Brüdern und Schwestern der LGTBQI+ Community, ihren Allies und allen Freund*innen der Dance Music. Lasst uns Queerness in allen Formen feiern. Mit einem lebhaften Line-up, das einen Querschnitt durch das weite Blitz-Programm abbildet. Beispielsweise mit den beiden legendären House-Ikonen Francois Kevorkian und DJ Deep oder dem New York City Veteranen Justin Strauss. Oder international geschätzten und gefragten Künstler*innen wie Cashu, Chlär, Dr. Rubinstein oder Fred P. Aber natürlich auch guten Freund*innen des Hauses wie Carlos Valdes von der IsBurning-Crew aus Amsterdam. B 4Me & Erhyc, aber auch Felix Rupprecht, Paquita Gordon, Rosa Red und Virginia. Und natürlich auch unsere beiden Residents 600-Cell und Stenny, ohne die das Blitz nicht denkbar wäre! Lasst uns gemeinsam feiern.
