Folamour is probably one of the brightest shining examples of a wave of young French disco and house producers right now and now he brings his House Of Love party with loads of sun kissed House, Funk and Disco to Blitz. All your monthly vitamin D and funk you need in one night! The DJ and producer doesn’t just play the tried, tested and well-loved sounds with conviction, but he adds a contemporary Hip-Hop, R&B & Pop informed perspective to the mix, too, that characterizes his distinctly modern take on the classic sounds.
The House of Love parties is built around creating places to connect, dream and let go, but it’s the musical programming that make it stand apart from the countless amount of Disco-revival based parties.
Munich’s rendition of the House of Love Parties doesn’t just feature Folamour himself, but the two young French producers and DJs Kousto and MLF that both offer interesting twists to the euphoric and eclectic House of Love formula. Kousto shines with his knowledge of old-school funk, Lo-Fi and Deep House, a love for shimmering brass-textures and a steady hand on relaxed tempos, whereas MLF adds 90’s trance and Eurodance to the mix with ease while keeping it all coherent & funky and is the perfectly suited to play the closing set with her penchant for rather dashing bpm numbers!

Folamour gehört zu den schillerndsten Figuren der aktuellen Szene von jungen, französischen Disco & House Producern und besucht uns mit seiner House Of Love Party, die für sommerlichen und lichtdurchfluteten Disco, House und Funk bekannt ist, im Blitz. Er spielt die Stile aber nicht nur mit leidenschaftlicher Überzeugung, sondern entwickelt eine dezidiert zeitgenössische Perspektive, mit Einflüssen aus Hip-Hop, R&B und Pop auf das historische gewachsene Triumvirat an Sounds, die explizit laid-back ist.
Zur Münchner House of Love Party im Blitz besucht uns nicht nur Folamour höchstpersönlich, sondern auch die beiden jungen französischen DJs Kousto und MLF, die beide spannende Interpretationen der euphorischen und eklektischen House Of Love Formel präsentieren werden. So überzeugt Kousto mit einem breiten Wissen von Old-School Funk, aber auch Deep- und Lo-Fi House, einer Vorliebe für strahlende Bläser-Sounds als auch einem gefühlvollen Handling Laid-Back orientierter Tempi, wohingegen MLF die Mischung mit Einflüssen aus 90’s Trance und Eurodance aufpeppt, ohne die klangliche Kohärenz und den essenziellen Funk aus den Augen zu verlieren.
