The third rendition of 2023’s Intimacy Quarterly concerts series will take place on Sunday, the 23th of July and outdoor, on the Blitz Restaurant terrace, right next to the Isar river. As always, Mira Mann will open the evening at 19:00 with an introduction, followed by Ralph Heidel and Finn Ronsdorf from Berlin, who’ll take a deeper look at pop music’s grand gestures using nothing but the human voice and a saxophone. Alien Transistor affiliates and Munich’s very own What Are People For? will show how the countless concerts around Europe have shaped their sound and music. As a cornerstone of Munich’s underground scene, Pico Be will paranthize the evening with a DJ-set.

Auch dieses Jahr verabschiedet sich Intimacy Quarterly mit einer Episode im Garten des Blitz Clubs in die Sommerpause. Am 23.7.23, ab 19 Uhr lädt Münchens Konzertreihe für experimentelle Pop Musik zu einem entspannten Abend bei den ausladenden Hortensienbüschen mit Blick auf die Isar. Die beiden Berliner Musiker Ralph Heidel und Finn Ronsdorf erproben mit Stimme und Saxophon die moderne große Pop-Geste, München-Formation What Are People For? zeigen uns, was die unzähligen Konzerte in Europa mit ihrem Sound und ihrer Performance gemacht haben und forever Herzstück der Münchner Underground-Szene Pico Be legt die passenden Platten auf. Host Mira Mann eröffnet den Abend wie immer mit einem Intro.
