Intimacy Quarterly is a new concert series in Munich. It takes place four times a year at different venues. It’s about distance, what is near, what is far, in the club on the net, in pop discourse.

Enji & Popp

The two Munich-based artists Enji, a Mongolian jazz singer, and percussion artist Simon Popp collaborate with each other in their latest project Enji & Popp. They experiment with different genres and art forms and venture into new territories via improvisation and experimentation. Under the title 031921 5.24 5.53 they released their first tracks together in february 2022. 

Alpha Maid

With a dirty guitar sound, electronic interventions and a strong voice, UK-based artist Leisha Thomas, aka Alpha Maid, takes us to far-flung places and scattered narrow alleys, steering us through disorientation and realisation. She is part of the collective and label CURL and released her first solo record CHUCKLE in March 2021.

Mira Mann

Mira Mann is an author and musician from Munich, who released her solo debut ich mag das in 2019. Since then, she has been working with various musicians who accompany her spoken word lyrics with hypnotic, sometimes propulsive, sometimes fragile soundscapes. Most recently, she released a translated adaptation of Bruce Springsteen’s classic Atlantic City together with Wolf Lehmann. She is currently working on a new album and is the host of “Intimacy Quarterly”.
