Surely one of our 2022’s best remembered parties, we’re delighted to bring you another round of Héctor Oaks signature > KAOS < night at Blitz. If you like rave-laden techno with depth & finesse, you’re in for a treat. Myriads of DJs and Want-To-Be DJs play hard & fast, rough & dystopian techno, but there’s few who managed to carve out their own signature sound within the plethora of possibilities. Héctor Oaks doesn’t just play tunes from the turn of the Millennium with plenty of impact and drive in a dry style, he does it with a contemporary perspective, well aware of underground-club and big-room dynamics. He knows how to stage melodic and harmonic contrasts with sophistication and to full effect and
his labels OAKS & KAOS are about bringing more of this music to the world and dance floors, like tonight!
Adiel adds a hypnotic twist to the mix, full of acid and dub influences, taking no prisoners with her inebriate formula that reactivates your primal rhythmic instincts. u.r.trax and bw have both been making waves in their own right. Besides having her own > kaos-urtrax < sub label on Héctor Oaks mothership, she’s busy carving out her own, exciting niche within the contemporary techno world, with stunning releases on trip (Atom Heart) and BPitch, whereas the hotly-tipped, local bw plays & promotes effective, sleek and functional techno under the balls-baile flag in Berlin, Munich and Madrid.
Munich’s Ghosttown crew will take over the PLUS floor tonight to serve you your weekly dose of bass and breaks and have invited LCY from London, who is still riding high on the release of her latest EP > /Y\ < full of truly stunning, sci-fi futuristic takes on Jungle and club music. The Ghosttown residents Broothworth & Glen as well as Munich underground favorite Danny Scrilla will round out the night in style.

An die letzte > KAOS < Nacht im Jahr 2022, rund um Héctor Oaks und sein gleichnamiges Label, können wir uns nur zu gut erinnern. Wer Rave-betonten Techno mit Finesse und Tiefgang sucht, wird hier fündig. Es mag zahllose DJs und Möchtegern DJs spielen, die rauen und trockenen, dystopischen und treibenden Techno spielen, aber wenige beherrschen das Spiel mit diesen Sounds so gelungen wie Héctor Oaks selbst. Freilich spielt er mit Wucht und Leidenschaft, aber die Tracks, die vorrangig um die Zeit der Jahrestausendwende stammen, präsentiert er mit einem zeitgemäßen Blick auf Textur und Dynamik: trocken, mit charismatischen Kanten und einer stilsicheren Hand für melancholische Kontraste, die gleichermaßen für stickige Keller, große Festivalbühnen oder eben unseren Blitz-Ballsaal gemacht sind. Mit seinen beiden Labels KAOS und OAKS bringt er noch mehr von dieser Musik auf die Dancefloor der Welt – so wie heute Abend.
Adiel verleiht dem Abend einen verführerischen, hypnotischen Touch – gespickt mit Acid- und Dubeinflüssen fördert ihr im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes berauschender Stil unsere ureigenen, rhythmischen Instinkte wieder zutage.
Die Münchner Ghosttown Crew übernimmt heute das Ruder auf dem PLUS Floor, um uns mit unserer wöchentlichen Dosis Bass & Breaks zu versorgen. Diesmal bringen sie LCY aus London mit, die mit ihrer letzten EP > /Y\ < einen höchstbeeindruckenden Entwurf Sci-Fi orientiertem und futuristischem Jungle & Club Musik geliefert hat. Die Ghosttown-Bewohner Broothworth & Glen als auch die Münchner Underground Institution Danny Scrilla werden dem Abend den letzten Schliff verleihen.
