Blitz and Playground work together like a well-oiled machine, so we joyously enter the next round. Few artists manage to carve out their very own niche in great style from their beginnings. All the more are we mesmerised by De School`s rising creative mind Upsammy. Her signature between odd techno and trippy drum & bass is so refreshing that literally every piece of her output blew our minds. A lovely slap in the face of the “everything has been done already”-quoters. Truncate cannot be overlooked when it comes to grooving, functional techno. Cutting his teeth in the 90`s warehouse rave scene of California, he has certainly become a legend leading the way. Armed with a huge arsenal of effective slammers of his own making and a sharp ear for dancefloor dramaturgy, David Flores will make this one a night to remember. Diving into the world of techno around the same time as Truncate, Norman Nodge was a pioneer protagonist of the Berlin scene and mentor to none less than Marcel Dettmann. Since 2005 he sits firmly in the Berghain and Ostgut Ton saddle. Due to his longstanding experience he is an absolute expert when it comes to fusing the old with the new. Our PLUS floor will feature one of the most passionate players out there embracing house music in its presence and history. He considers himself a consumer and producer at the same time. Who could it be? Of course we are talking about the exceptional Prosumer. This killer line up will be framed by our dear residents La Staab, Sedef Adasi and Voe.

Blitz und Playground arbeiten wie eine gut geölte Maschine zusammen, sodass wir voller Freude in die nächste Runde gehen. Nur wenigen Künstlern gelingt es von Anfang an, ihre eigene Nische zu finden. Umso mehr fasziniert uns De Schools aufstrebender kreativer Kopf Upsammy. Ihr Stil zwischen abwegigem Techno und trippigem Drum & Bass ist so erfrischend, dass uns buchstäblich alles von ihr umgehauen hat. Ein Schlag ins Gesicht für die ewigen “es hat alles schon gegeben”-Fraktion. Wenn es um groovenden, funktionalen Techno geht, ist Truncate kaum zu überschätzen. Begonnen hat alles in der kalifornischen Warehouse-Rave-Szene der 90er; mittlerweile ist er zu einer wegweisenden Legende geworden. Ausgestattet mit einem riesigen Arsenal effektiver Banger aus Eigenproduktion und einem guten Gespür für Dancefloor-Dramaturgie wird David Flores uns eine unvergessliche Nacht bereiten. Etwa zur gleichen Zeit wie Truncate tauchte Norman Nodge in die Welt des Techno ein, wurde zu einem Pionier der Berliner Szene und fungierte als Mentor von Marcel Dettmann. Seit 2005 sitzt er fest im Sattel von Berghain und Ostgut Ton. Aufgrund seiner langjährigen Erfahrung ist er ein absoluter Experte, wenn es darum geht, Altes mit Neuem zu verschmelzen. Unser Plus-Floor wird von einem der leidenschaftlichsten House-Connaisseure bespielt. Laut Pseudonym versteht er sich als Konsument und Produzent zugleich. Wer könnte das bloss sein? Natürlich ist die Rede von Prosumer. Diese außergewöhnliche Besetzung wird von unseren geliebten Residents La Staab, Sedef Adasi und Voe umrahmt.
