Kick starting the year 2.0 – Playground throws it’s first night of 2020! For this quixotic gathering, we added one of the most charming spinners out there to the bill of our sister crew: Cormac. This time the vivid all-rounder will show the rougher and more punchy side of his versatile mind by bringing his very own interpretation of Techno to BLITZ floor. Tommy Four Seven makes big waves these days. It’s his distinctive production skills, his uncompromising focus on music and a good portion of charisma, which make him one of the key players of a new rave generation. Raw, fast and sensitive at the very right moment. The latest coup on his outlet 47 was the remix double pounder of his LP Veer, including the dope work of the next one on board, our high-valued homeboy Stenny. By showcasing his magnificent selections between heavy-bass-stompers, smart rhythm-rollercoasters and spacious melodics this guy just kills it. Time after time. To round off the programme of our spaceship’s big room in style, Marcella will be heating things up with one of her hypnotic, deeply grooving and subtile uplifting dance floor trips. It’s all about House music and in between on PLUS floor. Good to have three darlings over here, who know how to make us dance our a**es off.  Beside being the founder of LA’s stellar queer party series Spotlight, Chris Cruse is just a damn good DJ. The Californian hot-shot particularly reads his crowd and has an instinctive feeling for getting the vibe to the max. The same applies to the Balance creator Justin Cudmore, who recently released his masterful Acid 12“ Are You Ready on NY’s Bunker imprint. Last but not least our incomparable resident-machine Muallem will deliver a huge load of his contagious euphoria to our pleasure dome. Well, let’s do this!

Für das erste feuchtfröhliche Gathering unserer Schwester-Crew Playground im noch ganz frischen Jahr, laden wir einen der charmantesten Wachskünstler an unsere Gerätschaften ein: Cormac. In dieser Runde wird uns der irische Allrounder erstmals seine härtere musikalische Seite zeigen und seine ganz eigene Interpretation von Techno auf dem BLITZ Floor zum Besten geben. Erwarten darf man also ein Überraschungspaket, das gehörig für Zündstoff sorgt. Tommy Four Seven macht dieser Tage große Wellen. Seine markanten Produktionen, sein kompromissloser Fokus auf Musik und eine gute Portion Charisma sind es, die ihn zu einem der Schlüsselfiguren im Kosmos einer neuen Rave-Generation machen. Bewusst roh gehaltener, schneller und zum richtigen Moment gefühlsbetonter Techno, bildet dabei den Leitsatz. Tommy’s letzter Streich in Sachen Output auf seinem Label 47, ist das Remix-Paket seiner Doppel-LP Veer, zu dem auch der nächste an Bord, Stenny, einen überaus soliden Beitrag leistete. Von unserem Resident darf man an dieser Stelle wie immer über eine dickhäutige Selektion an Bass-lastigen und ebenso durchdacht-ruppigen Stampfern vorfreuen. Die Reise mit unserem großen Spaceship wird abgerundet von Marcella, die hypnotisch, konstant groovig und mit Tiefgang in die Nacht führen wird. Auf dem PLUS Floor geht es einmal mehr um House Music und das in durchweg erprobter Gesellschaft. Zum Tanz an den Reglern bitten wir hierfür den Gründer der in Los Angeles verorteten Queer-Party-Serie Spotlight, Chris Cruse, der mit seinem feinen Händchen für die Crowd und deren Gelüste sein Debüt absolvieren wird. Selbiges trifft auf den Balance-Kreativkopf Justin Cudmore zu, der erst vor kurzem seine wunderbare Acid-12“ Are You Ready auf dem Bunker NY Imprint veröffentlichte. Zu guter Letzt wird unser Euphorie-streuender Resident Muallem abermals seine große Ladung an musikalischen Extravaganzen zu Gemüte führen. Let’s do this!
