It’s Playground time! 5 Years…WOW!!! The last birthday in November 2021 had to be cancelled at short notice due to the covid-related club closure, but that just gets us even more excited for the festivities this time around. For the special occasion, we have put together a whole series of highlights on two dance floors. On the BLITZ Floor, MARRØN, Nur Jaber and Rødhåd will take us to higher grounds with their very unique approaches to hypnotic techno sounds. MARRØN from Amsterdam has been on the fast track for some time now, both sonically and justifiably in terms of his career: he is winning a firm spot at the world’s most exciting clubs and festivals with his straight & sleek high speed techno, without ever losing control of the wheels. Nur Jabers dark and dense techno-sets spiced up with hints of enchanting psychedelic accents keep us longing for more.  We fondly remember her last, rapturous performance on our dancefloor from November 2021, the night before we had to close Blitz yet again and can’t wait to dive back into one of her irresistible mixes. No one plays loop-based Berlin-style techno like Rødhåd, the Dystopian & wsnwg label boss. He knows how to reliably seduce and undermine our perception of time and space in each and every set we witness. Get ready for a masterclass in minimalism! Anyone who spends a few minutes listening to AGY3NA’s set on the PLUS floor will immediately recognise his outstanding talent: It’s all about the extraordinarily diverse, rhythmically multi-faceted and playful mixture of house and electro. But there’s so much more that makes him stand out: his penchant for complex melodies, experimental grooves and the ability to carefully and neatly sew all the different fabrics into a fashionable patchwork at the decks is what distinguishes his capability. Next to AGY3NA, we’re really looking forward to one of our good friends: Chris Cruse. Another expert of queer party culture. Chris now lives in Berlin, but he was born in the US and cut his teeth on the West Coast in Los Angeles. He’s the founder of the party series Spotlight that established its international reputation by focusing on excellent booking of queer house, techno and disco DJs and almost completely eschewing social media presence—a highly honorable feature proving it’s all about the music! The sunny, radiant selections of Chris Cruse himself are also based around these styles. But we’re big fans of his excursions into UK garage territory, too. And last but not least: Sasha Sibler! You can rely on our resident to make you dance, as he knows our club and the dynamic of our dancefloor inside and out.

It’s Playground Time! 5 Jahre sind es schon…WOW! Der letzte Geburtstag im November 2021 musste kurzfristig aufgrund der Clubschließung ausfallen, aber aufgeschoben ist nicht aufgehoben! Für den besonderen Anlass haben wir eine ganze Reihe an Highlights auf zwei Dancefloors zusammengestellt. Auf dem BLITZ Floor werden uns MARRØN, Nur Jaber und Rødhåd mit ihren ganz eigenen Herangehensweisen an hypnotische Technosounds in Erregung spielen. MARRØN aus Amsterdam bewegt sich seit geraumer Zeit klanglich und – berechtigterweise – auch karrieretechnisch auf der Überholspur: mit straighten, geschmeidigen Techno auf hohem Tempo erspielt er sich aktuell einen festen Rang in den besten Clubs der Welt, ohne je die Kontrolle über das Steuer zu verlieren. Nur Jaber überzeugte uns zuletzt bei der finalen Blitznacht im Jahr 2021, vor der Covid-Schließung im November, mit darkem und dichten Techno. Sie weiß mit feinen psychedelischen Noten in ihren Sets stimmungsvolle Akzente zu setzen. Und niemand spielt loopbasierten Techno Berliner Machart so überzeugend wie Rødhåd: Denn niemand vermag es besser, unser Gefühl von Raum und Zeit auf so verführerische, aber auch zuverlässige Art und Weise auszuhebeln. Minimalismus at it’s best eben! Der Dystopian & wsnwg Labelboss catcht uns damit jedes Mal auf ein Neues. Wer sich nebenan zu AGY3NAs Set auf dem PLUS Floor bewegt, spürt sofort, was ihn als DJ so spannend macht: Die außerordentlich diverse, rhythmisch vielschichtig und verspielte Mischung aus House und Elektro. Aber nicht nur: sein Faible für komplexe Melodien, experimentelle Grooves und die Fähigkeit, an den Decks alle Stoffe sorgfältig und sauber zusammenzunähen, zeichnen sein Talent aus. Neben AGY3NA freuen wir uns auch auf: Chris Cruse. Einen weiteren Experten queerer Partykultur. Inzwischen lebt Chris in Berlin, seine musikalischen Erfahrungen machte der gebürtige US-Amerikaner aber an der Westcoast, in Los Angeles. Die von ihm initiierte Partyreihe Spotlight festige ihren internationalen Ruf vor allem durch ein exzellentes Booking queerer House, Techno & Disco-DJs. Sie verzichtete dabei fast vollständig auf die Präsenz in den sozialen Medien – schließlich geht es um die Musik – was höchst beachtlich ist! Und in diesem thematischen Umfeld bewegen sich auch die sonnigen, strahlenden Mixe von Chris Cruse selbst. Wobei wir seine Ausflüge in UK-Garage Territorien auch sehr gerne mögen.

Und last, but not least: Sasha Sibler! Auf unseren Münchner Resident ist Verlass. Er kennt unseren Club und die Stimmung auf dem Dancefloor wie kein Zweiter und bringt euch die geballte Blitz-Experience.
