Dax J is back! The last evening we shared with him at Blitz holds a special place in our minds and memories. It was the night before we had to close our club doors once again due to the covid-pandemic last November. No doubt it was a rough and very difficult time, but it proved to be a unique party, with everyone knowing it would be the last dance for a long time. And really no one could have fitted better than Dax J, playing the hardest and darkest, yet most stylish sort of techno you could imagine.
Neux from Georgia wouldn’t let the pandemic stop her from taking big steps up the career ladder. She plays hard-hitting techno too, with a fine taste for quirky electro-sounds and even shady, murky vibes in between – an interesting blend we’ve fallen in love with! We’re excited to finally have her at Blitz after a long wait.
Anthony Rother, on the other hand, looks back on years and years of experiences in the scene, as a DJ, Producer, remixer, and label boss too. He’s one of the German electro-scenes’ key figures, and his decade-long experience as an artist is impossible to miss.
We highly recommend catching Paquita Gordon’s set on the PLUS floor. Being a versatile DJ with broad knowledge of good music and knowing how to fit even the most disparate sounding genres together is one thing. But – this is where it gets exciting – knowing when is the right time to ditch all the hard-earned technical mixing skills in favour of simple, radical solutions when the situation calls for it is what makes Paquita Gordon really stand out from the bulk. She’s a music lover first and foremost so whether it’s Techno, House, Jazz, Global or Dub you can be sure Paquita brings you the finest of sound. She pushes the perception of what you’d expect from a DJ with a refreshing sense of (occasional) disregard for the art of DJing. The best things happen when you stray away from the rulebooks.
Our very own Muallem and Bashkka will bring some serious, irresistible funk to the PLUS floor tonight and will deliver a powerful testimonial of what makes our residents and our club so unique.

Dax J ist zurück! Der letzte Abend mit ihm wird uns vermutlich noch ewig in Erinnerung bleiben, denn: Es war der letzte Abend vor der zweiten, pandemiebedingten Clubschließung. Dementsprechend wild war dieser letzte Abend dann auch und niemand hätte die passendere Musik beisteuern können als Dax J, der uns mit düsteren und knallharten, trotzdem durch und durch stylishen Techno-Sound durch die Nacht gepeitscht hat. Neux aus Geogrien machte die letzten Jahre trotz Pandemie große Sprünge auf der Karriereleiter. Auch sie ist für krachenden und treibenden Techno bekannt, schmeckt ihn aber mit aufgekratzten Elektro-Nuancen und – jetzt wird’s spannend – fast schon zwielichtig-düsteren und angenehm-schaurigen Untertönen ab. Und das passt bestens zusammen. Ungewöhnlich und gerade deswegen hoch spannend. Wir befüllen schon mal die Nebelmaschine.Mit Anthony Rother haben wir einen, wenn nicht den Veteranen der deutschen Elektro-Szene im Blitz zu Gast. Er ist ein außerordentlich erfahrener DJ, aber auch ein geschätzter Producer und Remixer als auch Labelbetreiber. Und seine jahrzehntelange Erfahrung spürt man auch auf dem Dancefloor. Lange stand er auf unserer Wunschliste, aber was lange währt, wird endlich gut.
Paquita Gordon wird auf dem PLUS Floor spielen und ihr solltet sie wirklich auf keinen Fall verpassen. Sie ist nicht nur eine vielseitig interessierte DJ, die auch die unterschiedlichsten, disparatesten Klänge gekonnt in einem homogenen Mix vereinen kann. Aber was sie so besonders macht, ist ihr sicheres Gespür für die Dynamik der technischen Skills an Decks. Ja, sie kennt alle Tricks an den Decks, aber ist erster Linie eine Musikliebhaberin, die auf erfrischend-undogmatische Weise auch mal alle Regeln der Kunst, des DJing und auf dessen Konventionen pfeift, wenn die Musik und die Crowd es verlangt. Ihre Mischung aus Techno & House, Jazz aber auch Global Sounds und Dub ist ohnehin schon spannend, aber die Art und Weise, wie sie diese Sounds verknüpft ist nichts weniger als ein großes Spektakel. Unsere hauseigenen Muallem und Bashkka injizieren euch den Groove, den Soul und den Funk auf zärtliche Art und Weise und zeigen euch mit House-orientierten Sets, die sich vor Techno, Elektro und Acid nicht scheuen, wie im Blitz Party gemacht wird.
