The first tunnel.visions night last February at Blitz, the concert series and label from Munich based electronic, alternative and experimental jazz quintett Ark Noir, couldn’t have been any more exciting. Now tunnel.visions is back to stage more cutting edge music that blurs the boundaries between jazz and electronic music, experimental music and popmusic, live concert and club night, composition and improvisation but also academic and DIY-approaches of music.
The first half of the evening awaits with live performances from Ark Noir and Dani Scheffels, who plays an invigorating blend of styles, that are just as emotional as experimental as well as full of intriguing electronic and acoustic sounds, but particularly intricate grooves! He’ll give you a taste of what to expect from his debut album, out on tunnel.visions later in 2023.
Kelburrt and Shannon from Munich’s prime bass music collective Ghosttown will unleash the groove on the PLUS floor after the live concerts. Packed Rich, the hip-hop inspired beat prodigy and Ilian Tape affiliate, prepared a special DJ set that showcases his love and knowledge for faster and break-orientated sides of music, just in time to celebrate the release of his new album > Warp Fields < out on Friday 28/04 on Ilian Tape. All fuelled by that vital, characteristic funk he’s known for.

Die erste tunnel.visions Nacht letzten Februar im Blitz, der Konzertreihe (und gleichzeitig Label) der Münchner elektronischen Jazz Shootingstars Ark Noir, hätte nicht spannender sein können. Nun kehrt tunnel.visions zurück, für noch mehr packende Musik an den Grenzen von Jazz und elektronischer Musik, Pop und experimenteller Musik, Livekonzert und Clubnacht, aber auch von Improvisation und Komposition als auch akademischen und DIY-Perspektiven auf Musik.

Der Abend beginnt mit Live-Konzerten von Ark Noir und Dani Scheffels, der eine erfrischende Melange von Stilen spielt, die gleichermaßen emotional wie experimentell geprägt sind, voller aufgebender elektronischer und akustischer Klänge und vor allem Rhythmen! Er wird einen Vorgeschmack auf sein Debütalbum geben, das im Laufe des Jahres auf tunnel.visions erscheinen wird.
Kelburrt und Shannon von der Ghosttown Crew, den Münchner Experten für Bassmusic eröffnen die Tanzfläche auf dem PLUS Floor, wohingegen Packed Rich, das Beat-Wunderkind und Ilian Tape Afiliate ein besonderes DJ-Set voller flotter und break-lastiger Sounds vorbereitet hat um den Release seines neuen Albums > Warp Fields < am 28/04 zu feiern. Sein Auftritt wird einen ganz neuen Einblick in seinen faszinierenden musikalischen Kosmos, fernab seiner sonst so geschätzten und unwiderstehlichen Hip-Hop orientierten Live-Sets geben.
