We’re happy to announce another special evening, because: tunnel.visions goes Blitz.
Initiated by Munich electronic-jazz shooting stars Ark Noir, the festival series and adjacent, newly founded label aims to promote cutting edge music that blurs the boundaries between jazz and electronic music, experimental music and popmusic, live concert and club night, composition and improvisation but also academic and DIY-approaches of music. Thus, tunnel.visions highlights a particularly exciting and booming corner of Munich’s underground scene and we at Blitz are happy to join forces to make such genre-defying evenings possible. Refined and sleek, yet aesthetically radical and experimental music that pushes the boundaries of what a concert or a clubnight can be: that’s where Blitz and tunnel.visions meet.
But what does that mean in practice? Gripping music that’ll challenge your expectation, for sure. The electronic alternative, experimental jazz from Ark Noir meets the laid-back, lofi hip-hop gone Post-Dubstep gone Jazz sounds of BEIFER.
As odizouu, Ark Noir’s highly busy saxophone player Moritz Stahl reworks jazz-inspired improvisation into engrossing, otherworldly and extraterrestrial soundscapes through the imaginary use of analogue electronics.
And the highly esteemed Polygonia, a true wizard when it comes to organic and enigmatic sounds will take us deeper into the night with a back to back set together with FTP DOCTOR, that’s known for his impulsive and sweeping, genre-hopping yet absorbing style – they’ll finally bridge the gap between concert and rave, live performance and DJ-ing.

Wir freuen uns, einen weiteren besonderen Abend anzukündigen, denn: tunnel.visions goes Blitz.
tunnel.visions ist Festival- und Konzertnacht und seit kurzem auch Label zugleich und geht auf die Münchner elektronischen Jazz Shootingstars Ark Noir zurück und agiert als Plattform für zeitgemäße Musik an den Grenzen von Jazz und elektronischer Musik, Pop und experimenteller Musik, Livekonzert und Clubnacht, aber auch von Improvisation und Komposition als auch akademischen und DIY-Perspektiven auf Musik.
Damit positioniert sich tunnel.visions als Netzwerk einer lebendigen und sich steil entwickelnden Münchner Szene. Wir freuen uns, gemeinsame Sache zu machen, denn in der Vision zeitgemäßer, artikulierter und experimenteller Musik, welche die Grenzen zwischen Konzert und Club neu denken, treffen sich Blitz und tunnel.visions.
Wie klingt das schlussendlich? In erster Linie aufregend, denn es ist Musik, welche die eigenen Vorstellungen herausfordert. Der alternative, elektronisch-experimentelle Jazz des Quintetts Ark Noir triift auf den laid-backen, Lofi-Hip-Hop gone Post-Dubstep inspirierten Jazz des Solokünstlers BEIFER.
odizouu, das Solo-Projekt des umtriebigen Ark Noir Saxophonisten Moritz Stahl dagegen entwickelt mittels Jazz-Improvisation und analoger, elektronischer Technik sphärische, nahezu intergalaktische Klangwelten jenseits unserer Auffassungsgabe.
Und die von uns hochgeschätzte Polygonia, die stets mit feinem Gespür für experimentelle Soundscapes und durchdringenden Grooves punktet, wird bei einem gemeinsamen b2b Set mit FTP DOCTOR schließlich die letzten Grenzen zwischen Konzert und Rave, Live-Performance und DJ Sets auflösen.
