JASSS is the talk of the town. This Spanish-born, but Berlin by choice DJ, has, with impressive speed and within just a few years, earned herself a place at the top of the world’s hottest clubs. Her driving, experimental-leaning, EBM-heavy techno sets and releases redefine the relation between techno, industrial and IDM on labels like iDEAL, AD93 and Ostgut Ton. Her latest longplayer, > A World Of Service <, appeared right there last autumn. With great excitement, we have been following her new ideas and projects and are now happy to host the very first Vapor night in Munich!
JASSS therefore invites good friends behind the decks to play back to back (to back to…) all night long. That’s right: the whole night. Say goodbye to one-(wo)man shows, long live the collaboration, the result that’s so much more than the sum of its parts. JASSS, Hyperaktivist and Violet form an incendiary trio that will turn the dance floor upside down in no time. Hyperaktivist won our hearts with fast, demanding techno sets, full of 90ies-rave reminiscences and finely balanced psychedelic, trance-like counterpoints. Violet from Lisbon produces similarly high paced, breakbeat-heavy hi-energy house vibes that never miss the groove, no matter how high the BPM count might be. Friday awaits us with a bold program, the outcome of which we ourselves are extremely excited about.

JASSS ist in aller Munde. Die spanische Wahlberlinerin hat sich in wenigen Jahren und beeindruckender Geschwindigkeit einen Platz ganz oben in den hottesten Clubs der Welt erspielt. Mit treibenden, leicht experimentellen, EBM-lastigen Technosets. Und Veröffentlichungen, die das Spannungsfeld zwischen Techno, Industrial & IDM neu ausloten, auf Labels wie iDEAL, AD93 und Ostgut Ton. Dort erschien erst letzten Herbst ihr aktueller Longplayer >A World Of Service<. Mit Spannung beobachten wir seit Jahren ihre neuen Ideen und Projekte und freuen uns sehr, die erste Münchner Vapor-Night hosten zu dürfen! JASSS läd sich dabei regelmäßig gute Freund*innen an hinter die Decks mit denen die ganze Nacht Back To Back (to Back to…) gespielt wird. Richtig gelesen: Die ganze Nacht. One-(Wo)Man Shows waren gestern, es lebe die Kollaboration und das Ergebnis, dass noch viel mehr als die Summe seiner Teile ist. JASSS, Hyperaktivist und Violet bilden ein explosives Trio, das die Tanzfläche in kürzester Zeit auf den Kopf stellen wird. Hyperaktivistschätzen wir für ihre athletischen Techno-Sets mit 90ies Rave-Reminiszenen und fein ausgearbeiteten psychedelischen, tranceartigen Kontrapunkten und Violet aus Lissabon für breaklastige Hi-Energy-House Vibes, die auch bei hohen BPM-Zahlen nie den Groove vermissen lassen. Dieser Freitag hält ein kühnes Programm bereit, auf dessen Ausgang wir selbst außerordentlich gespannt sind.
