Our friends from World League don’t hold back on big announcements and parties and this time, they’re bringing Pan-Pot back to Blitz, who are already well acquaintanced with our club and have delivered quite a few memorable evenings at Blitz. Tassilo Ippenberger & Thomas Benedix are among Germany’s biggest contemporary electronic dance music exports and play functional, no-frills Minimal Techno of the good sort: subtle and slender in its nature, yet driving and uncompromising on the floor.
Karla Blum from Berlin on the other hand plays spacious techno that’s driving and uncompromising in its nature, but has well understood that weighty kicks and sweeping synths only develop their true force when they get enough space to breathe. Not all music has to be played at 150bpm or more and Karla Blum delivers the hefty cuts with the necessary and likeable understatement. René Vaitl of the World League gang may be known for his soaring tech-house selection, but his experience in dance music that spans multiple decades has proven by now that there’s not a party he’s not able to rock.
Joyce Muniz plays an expansive brand of house and techno with hints of trance, electro, and even pop with undeniable cool. Catch her alongside our very own Blitz resident Sascha Sibler on the PLUS floor tonight. Expect nothing but sharp and slick tunes from the experienced selector that knows our club and the World League like the back of his hand.

Unsere Freunde von World League geizen nicht mit großen Artists und Partys. Dieses Mal bringen sie uns Pan-Pot zurück ins Blitz, die unseren Club bereits gut kennen und hier bereits für einige denkwürdige Abende gesorgt haben. Tassilo Ippenberger & Thomas Benedix gehören zu den größten, deutschen Exporten zeitgenössischer elektronischer Tanzmusik und spielen funktionalen, schnörkellosen Minimal Techno der guten Sorte: feingliedrig in der Konstruktion, aber mit Maß und Gefühl treibend und kompromisslos auf dem Floor.
Karla Blum aus Berlin hingegen spielt raumgreifenden Techno, der in seiner Art treibend und kompromisslos ist, aber sehr wohl verstanden hat, dass wuchtige Kicks und mitreißende Synthesizer-Fläche ihre wahre Kraft erst entfalten, wenn sie genügend Raum zum Atmen bekommen. Nicht jede Musik muss mit 150bpm oder mehr gespielt werden und Karla Blum delivert die deftigen Beats mit dem richtigen und wichtigen, aber auch sympathischen Understatement. René Vaitl von der World League-Gang ist zwar bekannt für seine feine Tech-House-Auswahl, aber seine mittlerweile jahrzehntelange Szeneerfahrung zeigt, dass es keine Party gibt, die er als DJ nicht maßgeblich bereichert.
Joyce Muniz spielt breit gefächerten House- und Techno mit Einflüssen aus Trance, Electro und sogar Pop, die zweifelsohne vor Coolness strotzt. Ihr findet sie heute auf dem PLUS Floor neben unserem hauseigenen Blitz-Resident Sascha Sibler. Der erfahrenen Selektor liefert nichts als die schärfsten Grooves und kennt unseren Club und die World League wie seine Westentasche.
