It’s time to welcome our good friends from World League back at the mothership and this time, they’ll  bring Loco Dice on board. The Desolat label head just released his third studio album at the beginning of July. We are sure most of you have already heard the first single We’re Alive in one of his recent sets. Quite as expected, his album once more wonderfully blurs the lines in between house and techno by creating his very own and distinct soundscape. The combination of acoustic and rough sounds as well as his typical drum programming, clearly make up what can be referred to as Dice Sound. In contrast to older productions, Dice more and more makes use of his own voice, thereby creating even more personality and some kind of trippyness. This new long player might be considered as the perfect embodiment of the modern Düsseldorf-inspired sound and reflects upon homeland, distance, future and present. According to Loco Dice’s own words, the music on Love Letters is packed with all the positive energy and love he encounters throughout the globe. Every song may be regarded as tiny letter…a love letter. No World League without René Vaitl, who will join Dice on our BLITZ floor. The PLUS Floor will feature an entirely different programme…our beloved nd_Baumecker and his tag team partner Muallem will rock it all night long. 

Unsere guten Freunde der World League sind mal wieder zu Gast und haben niemand geringeren als Loco Dice mit im Gepäck. Anfang Juli veröffentlichte  der Desolat Label Boss sein drittes Studioalbum Love Letters. Enthalten ist, auch die in seinen jüngsten Sets immer mit Spannung erwartete Single We’re Alive. Dice- typisch, lässt er auf Love Letters mit einem kraftvollen elektronisch erzeugten Klangbild die Grenze zwischen House und Techno verschwimmen. Die akustische Kombination von rauen Sounds und geschmeidigen Drum-Beats, erzeugt eine für ihn einzigartige klangliche Darstellung seiner Tracks. Außerdem verwendet Dice in Love Letters häufiger als bei früheren Produktionen seinen eigenen Gesang, was die Produktion sowohl trippiger, als auch noch persönlicher macht. Das Album ist eine perfekte 15-Spur-Verkörperung seines Düsseldorf-inspirierten Sounds und reflektiert über Heimat und Ferne, Zukunft und Gegenwart. Loco Dice selbst sagt: „Die Musik auf Love Letters ist voller positiver Energie und Liebe, die mir auf der ganzen Welt entgegen gebracht wird. Jedes Stück dieses Albums ist wie ein Mini-Brief. Ein Liebesbrief.”Wer bei World League nicht fehlen darf ist René Vaitl, der zusammen mit Loco Dice unseren BLITZ Floor bespielen wird.
