Maceo Plex delivers formidable new fabric mix
Shortly before Maceo Plex visits us at Blitz this week, Miami born artist delivered a formidable new mix for the fabric compilation series. Starting his career as a DJ in 1993 with house and Detroit techno, his present day style rather tends towards deep opaque bass lines and lush soundscapes.
Frameworks Festival – 09/05/18 – 11/05/18
Frameworks Festival established itself as platform for new musical positions on the border between structure and abstraction. It aims to offer artists from different European subcultures a space to pursue unconventional and innovative ways of independent music. We look forward to exploring the boundaries of pop and abstract music on our handcrafted VOID sound system for three days.

Psychedelic Pop from the late 60’s – an album that I haven’t heard in it’s entirety yet, I just found it in Freiburg last week, but I’ve listened to the 3 albums after this one and I loved them…I’m curious myself for ‘Part One.

During my childhood my mom was constantly listening to this album. It became a reliable partner and safe harbour throughout my lifetime. I always find moments where I listen to it again, be it while having sex or hoovering my apartment.

We’re excited to announce that Munich’s trailblazing artists in the field of video art and live visualization, Betty Mü, will add her visual artistry to our Panta Rhei clubnight on Saturday.
Renowned for her imaginative, poetic style and clear installation concepts, she has been putting on shows at numerous specialized festivals, exhibitions and events, locally and internationally.
Raster-Noton: white circle – 09/05/18
The light and sound installation “white circle” has been created in 2016 for the 20th anniversary of the electronic music label Raster-Noton. It consists of a walkable ring of fluorescent tubes, which react individually to musical impulses and illuminate the room.
Jackmaster – 04/05/18
Glaswegian selector and Numbers co-founder Jackmaster has been involved in underground electronic music since his early teens. Growing up in the Scotch metropole, he joined the legendary Rubadub record shop, where he started his labels Dress 2 Sweat, Wireblock – and in 2010 the infamous Numbers imprint.

With his latest album “Daemmerlicht”, Berlin’s Lorenz Brunner alias Recondite treaded new paths. Released on his own Plangent Records label earlier this year, he dives into ambient, downbeat, electronica, instrumental hiphop and classical music – in a very remarkable way.
