Over the past four years Aurora Halal has made big waves throughout the international dance circuit. The trippy aesthetics and intensity of her DJ sets and hardware live jams have always been standing out. The creator of New York’s Mutual Dreaming party series and the Sustain-Release festival quickly became one of the most devoted figures of the new generation of US techno.

Throughout the many layers of his winding journey in electronic music, Holland native Martijn Deijkers, aka Martyn, has always stood in a genreless scene of his own. His distinct path through bass-driven music of all shapes and colours started out on play:musik and Marcus Intalex’ Revolve:r label, followed by releases on Tectonic, Brainfeeder, Ninja Tune and Ostgut Ton, as well as his own 3024 imprint, just to name a few.

Stepping up this Saturday will be Belgrade DJ and music journalist Tijana T. Starting out as a spokeswoman for the renowned Exit Festival as well as the host for a series of electronic music TV shows, Tijana T has been a driving force in Serbia’s house and techno scene for over a decade now.

After our joint blissful 24-hour party marathon into this present year, we’re happy to partnering up with the Playground crew once again. With the aim for upgrading the Munich nightlife for the open-minded party crowd, they’ve constantly put on hard-hitting raves over the past 12 months.

Joining Roman Flügel at this Friday’s ‚Sister Midnight‘ Munich edition will be Dutch balearic ambassador Job Jobse. After learning the ropes at Amsterdam’s legendary club 11, he went from an internship at the renowned Innervisions label in Berlin, to taking over the booking lead of the infamous Trouw nightclub (RIP) where he started his Drukpers night and DJ residency.

It’s safe to say that Roman Flügel is one of the key players on the German electronic scene. Whether with his long-term collaborator Jörn Elling Wuttke or under one of his various monikers, Roman spawned sounds and trends since the early ’90s.

“It took the Scottish writer Alasdair Grey almost 30 years to complete his novel Lanark. Combining the real with the surreal, Grey’s dystopian opus paints a bizarre picture of a Glasgow-like city, conveying stark ideas of postmodernism and personal hells.

Born in Wolverhampton, UK, Actress, aka Darren J. Cunningham, has in the last 5 years of running the Werkdiscs label set himself apart as one of the hottest A&R scouts within his field, having discovered and released some of the most widely talked about artists of the emerging bass generation, namely Disrupt, Zomby, Lukid and Starkey.

For almost a decade, Vincent Lemieux has played an integral role in Montreal’s internationally acclaimed dance-music community. Lemieux is man who wears many different hats: curator, label owner, DJ, producer, taste-maker… this is a man who has done it all and inflected every project in his association with an indelible personal style.
